they are owned by private persons, so the best place to look is dubizzle, always a few listed there. Thank u purple....I did call the ones on dubizzle but they were not available...

I just found places in Gems Royal Dubai. Hubby went paid the reg and is doing a tour today. Then, I also might get places in Jebel Ali....:) I would be extremely happy with Jebel Ali Primary or Gems. Good luck to everyone...it is stressful when u feel its all getting filled up!

Hi try GEMS school on al Khail Road they still have seats available and have UK curriculum. Registration and paper work is done at GEMS Wellingtion on SZR. There is a few on al khail road I sent my DH who is there until friday and only found gems world academy....are you talking about gems international al khail? If you are, have you seen it?, could you give me feedback about the facilities ready available etc..?

Betti: I read the other thread about changes , but didn't really understand what is the changes...and how r the students being used as a trial. Also with them going up to 4500 students is that for the coming school year? Has the building actually expanded or they r just fitting them in the same area??!

Hi everyone...was wandering if anyone knows of places in any british school, fd1, grade 3 and grade 5.....no luck in Wellington DSO, Gems Jumeriah, only grade 5 in Repton.......its crazzzyyyy. I'm moving to Dubai in July...any help would be great. Many Thanks

ouch! some nasssttttyyyy people on here.... are you guys that bored that all you have time for is to cut people up into little peaces (lol)...sorry peices...woops sorry wroong spelling.......pieces...anyway back to the point got a little side tracked of...off their....ohhhhh geez or is it they're? ....no no i think its there......a bit confused from all that studying I do online ...yep Bach degree in Education....... as you can see I'm really really bad at grammar.:( Not sure how I'll survive being a teacher......being poor at grammar, apparently its a must to be great at teaching it must...really must affect every other aspect a teacher should be ...like kindness, care, creativity, patience...being considerate maybe? How about everyone revising what a teacher is really there for?! I would much rather have a teacher who is not 100% in grammar but has a kind heart as that is something books can never teach..... And FYI ... most Uni's do the Bach of EDU online now with prac units for each year. To answer your question my friend was a teacher in Qatar and she had assistant teachers also doing the Bach degree online, I would suggest going to schools and handing in your CV.... good luck to my sister moving to Qatar.....who by the way has her Masters degree in teaching......so watch out people who can spell and don't structure your sentences properly she has her eyes on you....- joking she wouldn't waste her time in being mean.

thank uuuuuuu :)....I think most schools at the end of the day is a business,but its the teachers that really count. Thats great to hear your DS is happy and teachers are good... sooooo many schools but for some reason W DSO has captured me ...:)
