Ooh I also got married in Port Douglas - very special place. What about something like this - a limited edition photograph of one of Port Douglas beaches - you can get all different sizes. They also have some other stunning ones. The gallery is in Kuranda not that far from Port Douglas - I am sure you could have it delivered to them. They are stunning photographs and would be a lovely memento. http://www.peterjarver.com/browse.php?cat=218&id=169 A trip to the barrier reef for diving/snorkelling is a must - can highly recommend this one which leaves from Port Douglas. http://www.poseidon-cruises.com.au/ Also an amazing outdoor evening dining experience in a rainforest setting - absolutely amazing and fantastic food - right in the heart of Port Douglas. http://www.nautilus-restaurant.com.au/history_Nautilus_Restaurant_Port_Douglas.htm

How big is your pool? I take it you are talking about a large one? Shock treatment should kill off algae but you have to maintain your ph levels to keep it clear once you have done this or same will happen again. If it's a large one you should never have to change the water just maintain your correct levels. You should get a kit - not sure where from - which does this - would try Ace. Or have I read your post wrong and you are doing this - not just dumping in algaecide and chlorine?

Isn't the UAE one of the very few - if not the only - muslim country who enforce this no eating/drinking thing? Sort of defeats the point doesn't it? What about all the other muslims living in countries where everyone eats/drinks in front of them at Ramadan and let's not forget Christians during Lent also. It's meant to be a very personal thing that you do for yourself and your beliefs - it's not meant to be easy - what's the point in that - might as well not do it. Doesn't seem quite in the spirit of things when a government makes a law that forbids others not to do their usual thing in front of their citizens as it might tempt/make it difficult for them - isn't that the point?? edited by nonni on 12/04/2011 <em>edited by nonni on 12/04/2011</em>

Hi Turkish Wouldn't look at St Ninians - some nice areas off the top of my head are Bannockburn, Cambusbarron, Bridge of Allan - all depends on budget. King's Park is very very expensive but gorgeous old area right in town. Would think you would be ok with NHS as you are British. By the way new hospital is state of the art - meant to be amazing <em>edited by nonni on 18/03/2011</em>

dont look at Grangemouth - very industrialised - large oil refinery there. Brand new hospital just been built half way between Stirling and Falkirk - don't know about you getting into the NHS system - depends on your status I suppose. Lots of nice areas in Stirling - depends what you are looking for

Falkirk's ok not really village like though. Think there would be nicer areas around although I have a friend who lives there in a beautiful big old Victorian house and loves it. You might want to look at Stirling not too far from Falkirk - much nicer though I think. Stirling is a small town surrounded by lovely scenery and also is known as the gateway to the highlands so lots of lovely areas around it. Falkirk doesnt really have that - probably more industrialised I would say - hope this helps! edited by nonni on 18/03/2011 <em>edited by nonni on 18/03/2011</em>

Your TV will definitely work in UK so ship and don't sell. Plasmas work anywhere - it was only the old style tvs that had issues between countries
