Great advise from Goodmorning, never use tap water especially over here, you need to get some additive to go into tap water to correct the ph levels. Never get rid of all the water always leave about 30% of old water in the tank/bowl. Quite often when they are new from the petshop/garden center etc.... they'll have infections so you can get medicine for them, which for mine has worked a treat although turn the water yellow for a couple of weeks until you have to clean them out again! If in doubt google it...... HTH

Symmetry Gym are amazing! They are essentially a personal training gym....one on one sessions, Amir and his team know what they are doing and get fantastic results.....I can't recommend them enough!

Just to share my experience with accu. I have various issues with my back and neck, have tired everything chiro, oesto, and accu as my last resort with one of the top Harley Street guys in London and also a separate and trusted Oesto and it was THE most painful experience of my life, I passed out on two separate occasions, and sobbed all the way home from my first appointment due to the pain ....had it with two different people in case it was just a bad experience the first time.....I think it has a lot to do with location and severity/muscular depth of the problem you are trying to solve. I truly wish it had worked for me.....still trying to find a treatment.......

Dogcatcher, you couldn't be more wrong, I am a pilots wife have been for many years, OH has been with 5 different carriers and we have a huge amount of friends here and in other countries who fly, not one of them would opt for DEC unless it's on to their current type. There is a lot of hysiteria around this subject currently as EK has guys who are FO's with 1000's and 1000's of hours and just as they are reaching the EK thresh hold for their command it could be extended for another 2/3 years due to DEC. DEC's will fix the current recruitment issues EK has, but will compromise standards. Everyone we speak to agree DEC's are dangerous. Even guys who came as DEC the last time EK did this this have said 3/4 years later they only now feel confident on type, with hours under their belts.....the same time as most spend as FO's!! EK has enough issues in training/HR/ recruitment Depts.... etc..... currently if they do decide in their wisdom to introduce DEC's once again, then not only will they have a lot of very unhappy pilots, but they are creating way more issues for them selves.

Thanks for your reply! I'm looking for a gym that during the cooler months has classes/trainers to go outside and train on the beach, but also have a "proper" gym with machines and classes indoors for when it gets warmer. I'm living in Jumeriah.

Hi...I hope you can help? I'm brand new to Dubai and am looking for a new gym to join, ideally one on the beach (due to the cool weather at the mo, and being very pasty white!) There seem to be sooooo many to choose from. Also do any of you check the gyms credentials? I've been advised that there are a lot of trainers out here who aren't properly certified..... :( Any advice, help would be very much appreciated! Thanks, FFish!
