Can anyone tell me where to find such information, like the Dubai Calendars? I'm very interested in any events during Ramadan to get my family out of the house for a bit;) Hello. For food delivery great time to try an online delivery service which include restaurant hours (lunch and/or dinner delivery). There is food-zilla.com 24h.ae and Foodonclick.com. Harsh summer heat equals potent air conditioning every where you go, and since you will be indoors most of the time bring a shall everywhere you go. This will also be handy to cover up in public. This will be my 5th Ramadan as well, I have a feeling this year it will be different. More folks (local friends' feedback) will be around for Ramadan, thus expect busier roads and public places during the times the previous posts highlight. On the other end event planners are doing a better job at providing things to do, at least in Dubai. Check out the Summer Surprises events on e Dubai calendars and of course EW. Keep active otherwise it can get borderline depressing. edited by 4Turtles on 17/05/2013

I'm a 17 year old who is obsessed with fitness but I'm also a university student who has a student's allowance and my parents can't really afford a gym membership in Fitness First (3,799/year) and their ladies one in Uptown Mirdif is the one i've visited a few times since I am not comfortable working out around men, Does any one know of a Gym or studio that provides group fitness classes or any thing of the sort for cheaper? Preferably a place that has Kick boxing, yoga and body toning programs? I would appreciate any help! Bodyworxx in Motor City has a women's only room with all kinds of equipment, and they also offer spinning, yoga, zumba and other classes....:) I think we pay 199 dhs per month which is quite a bit cheaper than fitness first, but you can also pay monthly which might help:)

I have two children, and got all my stretch marks with both in the last 3-4 weeks. I also gained much more weight with my first and still got MORE stretch marks with my second, as I gained and held the weight differently. I gained my weight all over with my son and gained it all in the belly with my daughter. I also got the dark linea nigra line with both my sugars;) but it goes away completely after a couple of weeks post delivery:) I started noticing the line in the last 8 wks I believe. I can say that getting stretch marks with both, they are not so bad:) Once you get back to feeling like yourself again, with any luck you'll hardly notice them.....and even so, a very small price to pay for such Blessings :)

I had a c section 18nov12 with Dr. Elsa at City Hospital in Dubai and she was fantastic. It was my second, the first being in the US and I had a far better experience here with her. Seriously love Dr. Elsa and it was easy as pie with her...;)
