Don't even attempt Insanity unless you have a good level of fitness to start with - it's brutal. Brutal is the right word! I remember when I first tried insanity. I thought I was going to die! After a while, I just sat there and watched it like a movie;)

Hi Has anyone used ship and shop for online purchases to be delivered to dubai? I'm looking to do some online shopping in UK (clothes & bedding) and getting it sent to dubai - would shop and shop be the cheapest / quickest option for doing this? Any tips / advice welcome! Thanks very much Hi londonexpat! Did you try shop and ship yet? Just to let you know, I tried out ship ace over the holidays and their service was quite good too! I'm mostly pleased on the bargains I got though:party: edited by ab891 on 18/01/2015

It actually does work out cheaper! Unless you find a sale somewhere.

Yeah I've had a similar issue on the shipping weight once. The website showed one weight and shop and ship charged me for a higher weight. It still does work out cheaper most of the time to get in shipped from abroad than to buy it here. There are other similar companies as well, borderlinx, myus, ship ace. You can check all their websites for the shipping rates and see which is cheaper.

Do you get both of these at any supermarket or some place specific? I'm lactose intolerant and been looking for alternate options.

yes, I use borderlinx and ship ace. I haven't shipped the kindle, but I have shipped phones and had no issue with that.

If you live in Marina or around, I'd recommend Molly Maid. Think you can ask for the same girl to be sent every time. They do a really good job. Only downside is they also have a 2hr minimum.

I'd recommend consulting your doctor too. The treatment depends on a bunch of things, like your skin color, hair type, hormone levels etc. I had laser done and it's reduced my growth by 70% I'd say.. but i've met many people who have had 15-20 sittings and have seen only 20-30% growth reduction. Good luck!

Based on the advice of EW, my DH / DD go to Dr Madhu in Karama who is apparently excellent. I suffer extreme dental phobia (the only thing I've had done in 20 years was done under intervenous sedation) and had to go to a dentist here in an emergancy and a girlfriend recommended Dr Michael on Al Wasl road. I turned up there a shaking sobbing wreck (worse that DH was away so had to go myself) and I was put into the very capable hands of a lovely Swedish lady called Eva Gorton. She crowned my disintegrating tooth (using nitrous oxide as sedation) and since then I've had a check up, a filling and seen the hygeinist (all without sedation). I would highly recommend her. I've heard good things about Dr. Madhu as well.

I went too Thursday night, it was fine. Actually managed to find parking in 5mins at 8.30pm.. which has never happened before! Construction is still on though. edited by ab891 on 23/11/2014

It should say ships internationally or eligible for international shipping or something like that. If not, just use a freight forwarding service to have it shipped to dubai.

I've bought quite a few from Borders and Hamley's. Hamley's is a bit pricey but they have a good selection.

or try ordering it from the US or have someone bring it with them? We ordered it from the US so facetime actually works.

I've tried China Garden. They're pretty decent.

I use another similar service, it's called ship ace. They only have a US address but the sign up was free, so I figured what the heck might as well give them a try.

There's parking lots behind the Motor City Spinney's & all the shops in that row. If you're driving on that side of the road, you'll see cars going right towards that lot. You'll usually find parking there or even outside/opposite the Carrefour there.

Jumeriah open beach. It's clean, you can rent cycles to ride on the track. They even have these round tables with umbrellas right on the beach. Only issue is trying to find parking there in the evenings can take some time.

Have you been to Essa at JLT. I love their Dermalogica facials. When you say cheap what price are you looking at? I'll look them up, thank you! Probably something AED 500 or lesser. I think they are cheaper than that. I have very red sensitive skin and my skin always looks lovely after going there :-) My skin's really sensitive too. Thanks a lot, will definitely look them up :)

The only drawback with Cash Converters is they'd want your furniture to be in really good condition and they don't always take all of it. You'll probably have more luck selling it on dubizzle..lots of willing buyers.
