I've been teaching in a London prep school for the last four years and moving back to dubai next week to teach. I have taught in Dubai before too. I am very familiar with the 11 plus process and gave tutored year 5 and year 6 kids after school in preparation for common entrance and 11 plus exams. I was also head of English at my old school too. Hi ladies,
First time poster ..... We are moving to Dubai next month and I'm interested to hear thoughts on the schools above. My son is 9 (UK Year 4) and we would like an academics focused school with reasonable all round facilities.
I have heard from people that some British Curriculum schools in Dubai are well below the UK standard and kids find if difficult when they come back to the UK. Any feedback will be hugely appreciated.
