Try searching "Fujairahns" on FB, it's a group for Fujairah residents. It can be helpful sometimes, they share information about activities. I lived in Fujairah for several years and liked how small and quiet it was. Shopping malls, hospitals, schools, parks - everything so close. They have a museum where you can learn a little about the local heritage. Sometimes there are cultural festivals in Fujairah or Kalba. There are several sights nearby like Al Heil castle and Skamkam fort. There's Birds of Prey Center in Kalba and a newly opened widelife reserve.

Want to refresh the thread as well! For years I've been buying plain abayas from boutiques in the malls (Hanayen, Al Motahajiba, Lauzan etc). I pay 300-400 for a plain abaya, the fabric isn't even great. I feel I'm paying extra for the brand, while I don't care about brands and lables, I just want decent quality, as I had bad experience with small abaya shops - the fabric and finishing wasn't good at all. Is there any place to get ready made quality plain abayas cheaper than in the malls? Souq Naif in Deira is a no go area for me (too crowded) I've seen a new "Abaya Outlet" center in Mamzar, it's still not open, I'll definitely look there too.

I had it inserted around a year ago in a government hospital here (but had it removed shortly afterwards). it had a pinkish box, was from Bayers and the name is very familiar, I'm almost certain it was the same one. I just went to the hospital, told the gynaecological the reason I wanted IUD, she sent the nurse to fetch it from the pharmacy. Some pharmacies should have it...

Have you ever looked into plant based nutrition? Such dietitians are needed in Dubai ( and everywhere else). E - Cornell has an online course http://www.ecornell.com/certificates/plant-based-nutrition/certificate-in-plant-based-nutrition/ And Dr McDougall has several online courses http://www.mcdougallmedia.com/products.php?catid=22&category=Dietary%20Therapy

Could it be sensitivity to dairy? It is the case with me. Dairy gives me terrible dandruff and terribly dry skin on the face. I never knew what was causing it untill I went vegan, then it disappeared. If I get dandruff from time to time then I know it's probably because I unintentionally ate something with milk in it. If only you could exclude dairy for a week or two and see if it makes a difference.

Any fresh reviews please? We are considering this school, would be great if more parents could share their opinion.
