Hi all, So i did my the Bhcg test and it came positive, we had several attempts of We had several IVF attempts and IUI in London in the past 10 years , then recently we saw a Dr. Dimitrios in Bourne hall and he advised to try checking NK cells ( natural killer cells) and surprisingly it was high. So we a couple of medication ( Clomide and Prednisolone ) and with a touch of miracle and did huystroscopy . We got pregnant naturally !!! I am having tooo many feelings from anger why we never had this offered to us before to complete utter panic. i think we are 4 weeks and 3 days. I called our dr. and he is very cautious ( too cautious) maybe coz my BCHG in week 4 is almost 3000. So he didn’t want to talk about anything till he does a particular scan which is making more nervous than I am already am. So I thought no better place to get some comfort than my dear moms. I can’t reach out to family as we are not disclosing our news till later in our preg. I live in Tecom so Al Zahra and Saudi German are our best options, but who do we see ? any suggestions? What should we consider? When do I need to book my appointment? is it too soon I am scared even to move, what is ok to do during this time? Some tell me I need to swim or do some mild cardio as it strengths the muscles and some tell me not to do any activity? Can I travel or not? can I dance or not? herbs , what is save and what’s not? Why is my dr. being too cautious? When do I need to tell my employer? Ok you can have a glimpse of what is going in my head. I need help!! Hi Naddu200, First of all a huge congratulations to you. We have also been trying for a baby for the last 4 years and finally we got pregnant with the help of Dr Dimitrious at Bourn Hall as well. This is our 2nd IVF. We are currently 11 weeks. For our 12 week scan we have booked into Al Zahara Hospital and we are going to see Dr Nirmala Raghunathan. We picked her as she is also a specialist in Infertility. I know how you feel about not wanting to move or do anything. But you have a high bchg number but i wouldn't travel until you have seen your doctor. But you can swim, Swimming is amazing for pregnancy. Also once you get into your 2nd trimester Yoga is amazing. Just try and take it easy, try not to get stressed about things. (Hard i know) but seriously stress is a bad thing during 1st trimester. Don't worry about telling your employer until you know things with your doctor. If you need any other advice then just shout. Aimstars x

Hi there, I'm new here, and looking for some infor about IVF, my husband and I are planning, We went to FAKIH in Al wasl, since it was the popular in town, but still looking for other clinic. Anyone who did IVF in fakih, how's your exp with them? I have a quite feeling of nervous about this since this is our first time. Hi Mommewannabe11, me and my hubs have been with Fakih but found they were more interested in money then patient care. Now we are at Bourn Hall and they are amazing. We had our 1st ICSI at the beginning of last year and unfortunately i had a miscarriage. But we are now successfully pregnant after our 2nd go. They are so supportive and caring. I would highly recommend them. i wouldnt go anywhere else. Hope that helps a little bit

Hi, me and hubby have done 1 cycle of ICSI there and i honestly don't have a bad word to say about them! We were with Dr David and Dr Diana. We had a positive pregnancy test and then unfortunately i had an early miscarriage. But going again in October. After trying a few clinics here Bourn Hall are 100% the best for us! Good luck with it all.

thank you for ur reply .I was really waiting g for the reply ...feeling so lonely in abu dhabi ....I am in abudhabi n TTC for last 3 years now dr are telling to go for ivf any suggestions for ivf in abu dhabi. .how much is ivf in bourne hall and fakih I can tell you Fakih is 38000dhs that is one go and includes the genetic testing, very very expensive....and only a 40% success rate IVF at Bourne hall was 32000. Bourne Hall was the 1st successful clinic in the UK for IVF. The owner of the clinic has won a noble prize in medicine. We tried Faikh when we first started the process here and we felt that they were all about the money. Where Bourne Hall made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in!! I wouldn't go anywhere else! Genetic testing is included in the price and it also covers you for 3 months after you have a positive test result!!

Hi Daniela, me and my husband have tried Fakih ivf here in Dubai they were good but found they were more into money than patient care. We are now at Bourn Hall which is actually down the road and they have been fantastic. We had our 1st round of ICSI and made us feel comfortable the whole way. Unfortunately i had an early miscarriage this month but will be going back for round 2 in September. I would recommend them. Also they are cheaper than Fakih as well. The clinic started in the UK and was the 1st successful clinic in the UK to perform IVF. Worth a go. Sending luck to you Aimee

Hi, it's a big decision to decide to look into ways of helping you conceive. Me and my Dh have problems as well due to male fertility factors as well. We went to Bourn Hall and they have been amazing. We decided that ICSI was best for us but they can advise you for everything there. Made us feel so comfortable and welcome. I would recommend them 100%. Sending best wishes

Hi, Running_chick1 i have been to conceive in Sharjah but really didnt like the way we were spoken to. We have now decided to start ICSI this month at Bourn Hall. Dr David was amazing when we first met him. Made me and my hubs feel so much better about things. Going to start hopefully on the 12th! Have also been to Fakih for a few IUI but all they seemed to be worried about was $$$ Hope this helps. :)
