Thanks busybee2. Think I may give BSAK a call to make sure it is 2014. Must say, it does Seem strange and if a mistake, quite a big mistake! My kids are at Dubai British school at the moment, lovely little school, were sad to leave.

Thanks for replying busybee2, My other 2 kids will be years 1 and 2 this September. I must say we were amazed when BSAK offered our youngest FS2 in2014 but we've paid up and he's in! I don't suppose you know why there is limited space in FS1? Do they have less classes? What are the chances of my youngest getting in this year if my other 2 are offered a place? Does he then "go up" on the waiting list for this year!?! All very confusing stuff!!! I think if we manage to get all 3 kids into 1 school,that will decide for us but I have to say I have not read one bad thing aboutBSAK so really wanted to know if this school is worth the effort of finding my youngest a nursery for a year then changing him again the next year. That will be a lot of changes for such a little man! Do you happen to know when BSAK start offering places? Is it as and when kids leave? Thanks again,sorry if I sound all over the place,have lots on my mind!!!

Hi, we have a large 2 bed apartment which we let out for holidays in a place called Alcaidesa which is approx 10 mins from Gibraltar and 40 mins from malaga. The complex has a lovely pool,paddle tennis and is 5 mins walk down to the beach, which the apartment overlooks. I dont have any photos etc as we are just changing over from a long term let to holiday lets but will have some in a couple of weeks. If interested, i could put you in touch with our agent and send you some photos when i get them. It's a lovely area, quite quiet but close to Marbella, Gib and all the other touristy places along the costa del sol.

I have another issue with MM's security and havn't taken my kids back since. Afew weeks back i took the kids and luckily sat near the entrance so could see the comings and goings. So many people leave the gate open and from there it's 1 unmanned door strait out to the SZR slip road. I stopped 1 approx 18 month old making her way out and and after that didn't take my eyes off the entrance! So many kids ran up and down the corridor and it was impossible for the staff to monitor who was with parents etc. When i spoke to one of the staff about it she said it was a problem and gave me the managers e-mail. i did send an e mail but never heard back. I'm so pleased you brought this topic up as I feel it's only a matter of time before something bad happens. Maybe they've sorted the unmanned entrance out by now but just wanted to add I think they should also only allow people in who have children with them. Not such a crazy idea in a children's play center!
