Hi, Thanks for all your kind replies. Here are my suggestions from the huge research I put in to start with my braces treatment. For me cost and quality are priority. [b'>Step 1 : Searching for an orthodontist.[/b'> I don't want to personally recommend any clinic. Use the good old [i'>google [/i'> and research by typing "affordable orthodontist treatment in Dubai UAE" https://www.google.ae/#q=affordable+orthodontist+treatment+in+Dubai+UAE [b'>Step 2 :Find the suitable braces type needed for you[/b'> What most people don't realize is that there are many types of braces available in the markets today. They are classified into - Metal braces (normal or colored). Ceramic, Lingual, Damon, Invisalign, Incognito. All these have different cost as some of them are invisible, removable, etc., and each have different treatment duration. Again use google to research on the subject. I used the first information website I came across in google http://www.orthodontist-dubai.com to research more on the type of braces I required based on my budget. [b'>Step 3 : Choosing a good clinic.[/b'> Once you have found the suitable braces type and a dental clinic that matches your requirement based on recommendations by your friends try to find out the clinic reviews. If you find too much negative reviews or cost is too high - must avoid them. [b'>Step 4: Treatment[/b'> Once you have started off with the treatment there is no going back or changing clinics. Strictly follow up with your Orthodontist as that final result is what we all need. We don't want to waste years and end up with a worse case scenario. All the best for everyone undergoing braces treatment! You will realize your efforts put into research did not get wasted only after few months! edited by ameena5 on 14/04/2015

hello i know this clinic "julphar implant and cosmetic dental center" but its in ras al khaimah there number is 072271999 you can check website www.julphardental.com there ortho doctors are very good Thanks. But RAK is really too far. I would be happy to get suggestions of some good affordable clinics within Dubai (or at least Sharjah). Here are my opinion of the clinics I have already browsed. Glow white dental - somewhat expensive Dr Joy Dental Clinics - Read very mixed reviews across the web and very expensive. Dr Paul Dental Clinic - Going for a consultation. Will update. My requirement is regular metal (or ceramic) braces at lowest price and nothing too fancy or those invisible ones. edited by ameena5 on 22/12/2014

Is anyone undergoing orthodontic treatment at this clinic named - Dr Joy Dental Clinic (www.drjoydentalclinic,com)? If yes - how much do they charge currently for regular metal braces? I went for a consultation few months ago but did not pursue treatment then. But when I decided to do it now, I found their quotation to be completely different and too high. I would appreciate if someone would let me know if I am paying the right amount or being ripped off by this clinic. Their online reviews seem mixed and doesn't provide helpful information. Also please share your experience and cost for ordinary metal braces at other clinics located in Dubai (or Sharjah).

Thanks all for your replies. I hold a partner Visa from SAIF zone. Hence I will be required to take a driving license from Sharjah due to the Sharjah Visa. But can I get a NOC from SAIF Zone authorities and apply for driving license in Dubai as I have read tons of horror stories in getting a driving license from Sharjah. Would be really helpful if someone could answer this question.

Thank you all for your prompt replies. @ shelo09 - kindly let me know if by "one original share certificate" you mean the one trade license they provide with both the partner names in it? If no, can you tell the document's heading so I can check it up?
