Hi all. I have a lesson about Patience learned in Thailand.
Like most developing countries, certain things can try your patience when living there. Problems with communication and issues with efficiency can all get on your nerves. Living in Bangkok has forced me to slow down and accept things as they are rather than get riled up by them.
The key is to say yes! You may discover a hobby you didn’t know you’d love, or an area you didn’t know existed. Best of all you will have shared an experience with potential lifelong friends. that's what I think
Hi. There are many sections of the city to live in, depending on one's preferences. Dubai Marina is an exclave of expats, Deira and Burj Dubai is the more traditional area. Outer communities include Arabian Ranches and the Green Community. Jumeirah, Al Wasl, Al Safa and Umm Suqeim have lovely residential accommodation. Hope that helps.
