your doc said a very nice thing MuMi... there is a saying in my mothertongue (hindi) which roughly translates as " whatever is written in you destiny will happen, you can't run from that" so its better to accept then to curse. Afterall all is God's will. edited by manubhadauria on 19/04/2011

no i don't mind sharing.we are in the same boat enigma but DO NOT be tensed...don't have any negative thoughts coz they are connected directly to the baby. if you are stressed or exhausted that's harmful for your baby.i know as i have gone through this that it is easier said then done.but you have to be strong and make an effort for the life which is inside you. tension increases hormone levels which are not good in pregnancy so you have to make an effort yourself. people can only tell you. try alternative therapies if you are tensed. for me hymns and chants were soothing. you can try meditation or any hobby which you thought of doing but never got chance. and i noticed when i am alone i think alotand all negative thoughts. i don't watch tv so in these days i use to only switch on tv regardless of what is coming so that my mind don't start running, being a housewife doesn't help either :) as my doctor was monitoring my cycle so my pregnancy was discovered early in 4 week. but in 6 week scan development was not much...by 8 week there was no development. It happens with the PCOS. If you have any inhibitions consult your gynae. do not hesitate. and i wish u all luck. and big hugs to u :) edited by manubhadauria on 19/04/2011

Better go and see any good obs. If she has previous complications and is married and has kids then it's only unto doctor to decide whether pregnancy is harmful or not. Then it Can be terminated. Hurry then at least you have option of going home for termination. And here I am scheduled for d&c for sat coz my baby has stopped growing :(

Dr nirmala is leaving Dubai Mall clinic on 14 april. she is shifting to some clinic near city hospital- dr suleiman clinic. i also took treatment from her for pcos. one thing i liked about her was that she will not put you on unnecessary meds. when other docs tried to start meds right after seeing them she insisted that i change my diet and excersice more for few months.

whenever i go for mani and pedi, regardless of the type of saloon, i am always suffering afterwards! the skin of my hands specially leaves around nails and pains for many days afterwards and as for toes well they have bled sometime or nails cut too short not to mention burns on ankles due to excessive scrubbing... SO dubai parlours a big no for mani and pedi!!

beckie temples are in the north and beaches are in the south so you have to compromise...it was getting very humid.we went in feb for a long weekend to the south of sri lanka. so if you want some nice weather look towards kandy and nuwara elliya there are waterfalls and walking trails and tea plantation. but beaches have all the water sports- scuba diving, jet ski, fishing, coral waters...but too humid. i still have the tan from there despite putting loads of sun cream. we also wanted to see atleast one temple and our guide took us to colombo for that on our last day in sri lanka. beautiful buddha temple and one hindu temple.

during my first apointment in medcare few months back, just for general checkup, i just hated that place. nobody answers your questions and doc also seemed to be in hurry. recently one of my friend also gave birth there but didn't had a good experience there. and please don't go for international modern as the staff there is very slow. they took whole day to prepare discharge papers! i also have to decide soon where to go for delievery but i am reading quite alot of positive exp about city.

welcome to dubai reqitime :) i live in the same area.there are no parks here for children to play. as OP said there is zabeel park nearby(but nt so near) with small kids. you can take them to jumeirah open beach too which is 5-10 min drive from this area.(cab). by metro you can get down at business bay station, take a cab from there, cost 10 AED, reach safa park. there is a train inside park for kids and adults.might enjoy that.

Agree with VP if you need to right a pro and con list then parenthood really isn't for you- you should know in your heart whether you want kids completely agree with her and VP. children are not a commodity that you have to think about the pros and cons before buying.you will know in your heart is this the right time? edited by manubhadauria on 05/04/2011 edited by manubhadauria on 05/04/2011

my doctor was reluctant to give me any meds and said to TTC naturally...after 7 months she finally started my medication in jan as i developed mild insulin resistance. just being on meds for 1 month i didn't got a chance to reach till clomid as i was pregnant before that and no trigger injections too. but she told me clearly that don't hope as your egg size is very small so it would take 2 months cycle. now i am 5 weeks pregnant :D just start on with positive vibes as i was strictly told not to think about pregnancy too much (i am a worry bee for everything ) apparently your hormones become more haywire if u think alot. so keep yourself stressfree and relax and continue with lots of water and exercise. wish u best :) edited by manubhadauria on 30/03/2011

We are here on a decent (by current economic standards I would say great) package and no, not everything is perfect. I spend 80% of my time at home, have only 1 full day with husband and kids to relax, have only a couple friends, etc. I miss my family, home cooking from my parents, the convenience of knowing how to do things and where to get them done, etc. But I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences that Dubai has afforded our family (not just economic). Knowing how my friends and family are struggling back home, I know we are extremely lucky. Personally I'm looking forward to my 1 year anniversary with Dubai. couldn't have expressed better gleekfamily :)

its a mixed culture here.you will get each and every type of person, some rude some bad, some have courtsey others not. as for leaving dubai its mamaballs decision and she is leaving so be it...why others have to comment on her? try and be happy whereever you live...here or back home..
