Hi ladies, has anyone tried Dr. Lina Skutaite in delivery ? she's a gynecologist in emirates hospital marina branch, she looks a nice person and nice to deal with ,but I don't know about the delivery because most of doctors here at the delivery moment just want to do the c section to get more money, and I want to have a natural delivery. any recommendations ??? thanks a lot :)

Are you on your DH or fathers sponsorship? If so, contact all the agencies available and you may be able to find some temporary work, with will always give you UAE experience of some sort. Also use LinkedIn to death :) thank u I'll keep trying

Hiya hun, Know how u feel, its tough here to be honest. Most people will say try coffee mornings or baby groups and so on but tbh i have always found everyone has always got their own "crew" going on already and new commers armt always welcomed with open arms. I found going on walks to the park alot easier. People always approached me and were loads more positive. Its the perfect weather for it too. I use to go regular and bumped into the same ppl over n over and it was nice for me and my baby. Where are you staying? I haven't tries the coffee mornings yet , I live in discovery gardens , what about you?

Hello ladies, also in the same boat. We land in Dubai in January and my husband starts work nearly immediately. I have an 8 month old and will also be looking to meet other mums and friends. Any suggestions? :) I live in discovery gardens , where do you live?
