Thank you! I'll try that! I know I bought Bounce sheets somewhere but never realised they weren't readily available so didn't really make note of it.

hello all! I can't for the life of me seem to find dryer sheets or Bisquick. I have tried Carrefour, a Spinneys (albeit a smaller one) and even the Co-op (I did find the best grapes there though so it wasn't time wasted) an no luck. I bought both at one point in time but cannot remember where??? Would really appreciate some help!

Hi has anyone had there teeth whitened here in Dubai that actually worked if so I would love some recommendations thanks!. Over at Dr. Michael's Dental, Beverley and Dulene do amazing whitenings!!! You can either get the tray (what I did, and yep, def works!) which you do at home or you can do the one where you sit in the chair and they whiten your teeth using a machine...both methods cause sensitivity but if you've got healthy teeth you'll be fine.

Not sure if you've found a spot, but I love love love love The Farm...in fact will have my wedding dinner there! Utterly breathtaking and you really don't feel like you're in Dubai...

Personally I wouldn't trust a maid to walk my dog...I've seen too many maids "walking" dogs when in reality they're just sitting, talking on their phones/with friends.... I'm afraid you may be right, but hoping there would be a way around this. We walk our boy as much as we can but don't like him being unable to go out during the summer months. Maybe I'll have to hire a maid and dog walker separately?

Hi All Just wondering if there was a maid/dog walking service out there? Hope it exists... I live in the International City area and have been using a maid service. Not super happy with their cleaning but they were nice people, so we continued with them. Last straw was when we found out that though we were paying them extra to walk our dog, they weren't (security guards let us know). Hope someone can shed some light on this! It would be great to come home to a happy walked dog and not have to redo the cleaning...

They are hideously expensive unless you can get insurance to cover but Zovirax also available over the counter here in a tablet form - Valtrex also works -- significantly cuts down the healing time. Agree that Lysine (avail in health stores) is a good, natural amino acid that helps fight off recurrence of cold sores. Thank you Court5! Yes, DH only gets it around this time of the year, the cold maybe and him getting a little flu-ish? Will try the tablets.

Zovirax sounds promising! Can I get my hands on that here? if not, @summer breeze, I'll check out that active ingredient you recommend! Healing patches not available? Boo! Oh well. We were about to go to the Hospital (yes, he's THAT upset) just to see if they could prescribe something..

Just went to the pharmacy (to be fair not a very good one in general but still...) they didn't carry Abreva and I fear it may just be another one of those things to add to my list of over-the-counter life savers (polysporin anyone??? Lanacane for bites???? ) that I won't find here :( does anyone have any alternatives they can suggest? DH is experiencing a breakout and moping about it. Maybe healing patches?
