Do any of you ladies know of an experienced, reliable and honest maid who is looking for work. I've had a bad experience with an employee just recently so would much appreciate any help you can give .

I've had a simailar problem - little holes around the waist area of my clothes. I discovered it was a rough service under the worktops. DH filed the unerneath edge of the work tops, especially by the sink and hey presto no more holes. Good luck.

Try Montexa in Satwa. Anne Rashid is a British woman who has been here for years. Her prices are not the cheapest but I've had a few things made there and they fitted perfect and where just what I asked for .04 349 4037 050 598 2070 good luck.

All my simpathy to you and your family Izsy. I think funerals are for the living to commemorate the dead. Think long and hard about whether you want to go and the reasons why. When my step dad passed, I thought I was going to the funeral to support my mum and be there for her, it is only afterwards that I realised I needed to be there for myself too especially since I didn't get to say good bye before he died as I was living abroad. Have to totally agree with Swiss Sandy. I think it gives the living some sort of closure. In my family funerals have always been a celebration for the life and time we had the the person. Yes we cry but usually when we all get together after the Mass and have a cup of tea and then something stronger and then we end up laughing and talking about all the good times we had. I hope you make the decision that's right for you Izsy. Just wanted to pass on my condolenses.

Our weekends tend to be very social here which I love, but I don't have a lot of friends to meet during the day... Think I might have to go to the coffee mornings again to meet some more people, but they're not something I'm good at! Sounds like my life Muurtje. Lots to do at the weekend but sometimes the week days are a bit boring. I know it's different for those with kids but I think it's a bit more difficult for those without. Sorry..............moan over.

Thanks for all your kind replies. I live at Trade Centre end of SZ Road so hope to miss all the traffic going to the fire works. I had hoped to see the New Year in at home and then scoot off to the airport, but that doesnt sound likely now. Wonder if the RTA can give me any advice. What do you think?
