The government should actually make it mandatory for landlords to provide an AMC when renting, but ..... The best we can do is demand and hope for the best . But I do think if we complain enough, maybe they will get tired and eventually do something :)

That is so bad ! The problem in Dubai is that the tenant are never protected , especially with PDC cheques, you are too scared to loose money by just moving to a better property. One way to be a bit more protected is to demand an AMC contract from a maintenance company provided by the owner before agreeing to rent or renewal. A lot of things like AC and preventative maintenance are covered , however large damages will be charged extra. But at least you have a regular and reliable team looking after your home and can rule out a lot of damage before hand. A friend of mine lives in Springs and has similar issues. He now has a contract with Clear Water Technical Services. Its a Swedish owned company and they do excellent work. I contacted them also for a quote, 0553289602 is the contact I have. Its best if tenants start demanding this from lamdlords as properties are falling in disarray and they have no pressure to fix it, however , happy to demand rent !

Cost is really difficult as the size and scope of works is always different . I bought an Ikea kitchen unit and got Clearwater to do the instllation . They are the most reliable in my opinion as the owner is Swedish. Give him a call, Dylan 0506980217, he will best advise you

Hi Ladies , I only use ClearWater. It is a Swedish owned company and they do all my renovations and my friends use that aswell. Call Dylan , he is super helpful 0506980217 or his assistant 0553289602. Honestly the best company I have come across so far and they work with your budget - I have had bad and painful experiences before with other companies ! Good Luck !

City Land in satwa is amazing , i showed them a picture and made the same dress, perfect with the first fitting , you can find them on google and its a tiny shop, but dont worry , they are great !
