Hi, the ADDC has a lot of branch offices, I know one that is just behind the Madinat Zayed mall. I had to transfer the bill from the building owners name to our name, but you can also get a new connection there. They will give you a form, you just need to provide the housing documents and visa, passport photocopies. Also you will need to clear the earlier bills if any. There will also be a deposit of 1000 for a transfer, I am not sure about a new connection. Their timings are till 7pm, but the watchman there told me, that the best time to visit would be from 9am to 10am. Hope this helps. :)

Wow, so many replies and a very interesting discussion.. :) I will definitely check that link.. I had read that the extreme changes of the sun outside and A/C inside cause damage to hair and skin, I suppose that is a reason too.. Thanks all of you.. :)
