I go to Ted Morgan on the Palm for mine. A lady called Cara does it and I pay about 900dhs? My hair is very long though so it may be cheaper depending on the length. Roots and tips touch up every 6-8 weeks are about 700 I think? She was very helpful selecting the colours- I thought it was two standard colours but apparently not. They need to match skin tone, complement each other etc. She was very knowledgeable and I was told today my hair is 'soooo on trend' by a teenage girl

Most of the time, after you've paid, they will sign and date the voucher and write something on it like next one free. Some places make you book the next one in and if you miss that appointment you forfeit the free one (however these are few and far between). Never had a problem using them at all.

Can I ask what mole mapping is and what it involves? I have several moles that I had checked out years ago when I was a child as my parents were concerned about them. Luckily I was fine. I had a friend die from a malignant melanoma just before I moved here so I am very wary of my moles and this is something I would be keen to get done. OP, hope yours is ok now :-)

I found this too. I tried to book at flight back to the UK which cost 436 pounds. when I looked at using my miles it would have been 37500 miles which I had- but then a further 270 pounds in taxes!!!!!!! What is going on Emirates?

Its fair enough! Its like taking your Robin Reliant to the Porsche garage to get it fixed- they make not genuinely have the parts etc. Take it to Go Sports- they sorted mine out for me. Or even an EPOC station- they have pumped up the tires on my cheap bike before

Sakhifa It may have been me and my friend that borrowed your medal! It was my friend's first ever 10k and she wanted a picture with a medal to prove to family at home she had done it. It is disgraceful behavior on SC part. When I contacted them I was told that there weren't enough medals as some people had taken two. When I emailed them I was told anyone who didn't receive a medal would get one in the post. My question would be how do they know who received one and who didn't? I do have it on good authority that enough medals were made but the organisers decided not to take them all to the event. Defies logic doesn't it!

This is my topic :-) Park and Shop sell them, but last time I went they weren't the best quality. I ended up buying Granny Smiths and it was just as yummy as usual. Why not make a lovely apple pie for afters??? ;-)

try MMA fitness in tecom or discovery gardens. They run a class several times a week (100dhs a go for non members), or you can have PT with a muay thai-er! Open day on Tuesday at the tecom branch!

Rinising it with water will not remove any bacteria. You would need to wash it with disinfefctant to remove and kill any bacteria. Personally, I LOVE the taste of Domestos on my horsey burgers ;-p

Just an example, in my high school AP Biology class, we were learning about the respiratory system and how it works and my teacher brought in a pair of cow lungs *real*! and a huge vacuum and we were able to see how the lungs function by making them "breathe" and how long the process takes because they're so large. These learning experiences make you more considerate and aware of animals and humans and their differences. I don't think that would be possible here. This is possible here and is done here! People are also criticising teachers from UK state schools implying they are not as good as private school teachers. How is this the case? Private schools devote more time to teaching than state schools and are sleective over the students they teach. Doesnt make the teacher any better. When I say 'devote more time to teaching' I mean students spend more hours a day doing work which can include hours of supervised compulsory prep in the evening. This does not make the teachers any better!

Associated or not, the package at Wellington will be more than the package at Repton. In terms of where they let you live (or housing allowance) and salary.

it doesnt matter as your visa still says you are resident in another non EU country. The only thing that might happen is that you lose out slightly on the exchange rate your bank gives you:cool:

Postbox in Manchester airport is just after you have gone through the security scanners (the new walk in ones), after you have put your watch and belt etc on. You walk through the little corridor bit towards duty free and there is a red telephone on your left hand side. Therre is a post box on the wall here which is where you have to post your return. It is not very big and not very well signposted. If you reach Boots the chemist you have gone too far. I think you are meant to not seal the envelope. I have had refunds in a variety of timescales from two weeks to 6 months, but as Tescos says 'every little helps'! If you are in any doubt, use the red telephone and phone the person on the other end. they will answer any questions you have about it. Just make sure you take your passport shopping with you initially as the shop assistant giving you the tax refund receipt is meant to see it and fill in your passport number. SOme do some dont, they may let you fill it all in but its not worth taking your chances and forgetting the passport. HTH!

Yep Bare Minerals all the way here too. You really need to be shown how to apply it but Ive found it doesn't sweat off and looks natural whilst giving good coverage. I could be on commission ;-p

I love my iPhone as I use it for personal use - Skype, Whatsapp, Imessage and all the various apps to keep me entertained. Just note though that ALL iphones purchased in UAE (and some other countries in the Middle East) cannot have facetime. The software is banned in this region. I bought my iphone in Virgin in Dubai and facetime works fine on it?? I had a bb and am now on the iphone. I find I spend more money as the monthly package is more but I just love it. It has skype and facetime so I can chat to my friends in different countries. I had to pay for whatapp on it whereas it was free to download on the bb (not sure if it is still free on the bb or not). The camera is MUCH better than the bb camera which is one of the main reasons I bought the iphone. tbh if you are only going to text and call on it stick with the bb as the actual phone is cheaper. If you want to be surgically attached to your phone and constantly using apps then get the iphone!

Head to MOE or Dubai Mall and go to Marks and Spencers. Their 'tummy control' costumes are the tops!!! I bought myself 4 in different colours/patterns as I tried them on and they are so flattering. I think they were 215 each which isnt breaking the bank really. They have secret support in which even work for my sizeable bust, and a variety or styles- halterneck, removeable straps etc. Even come with matching accessories! You can't go wrong in M&S <3:cool:

I think I paid about 120 for a bottle of Moet. I know its a lot cheaper than it is in MMi and A&E! I remember not buying a bittle in Dubai free and then kicking myself when I saw the price of it in MMI. If you are flying to UK, it MAY be cheaper in a supermarket, but you wont be able to guarantee availabilty at this time of year. When the supermarkets have offers on, the bottles fly out of the store!! HTH :-)

Evening all ladies! Would anybody be able to assist me with this: if I agree to renew my tenancy contract verbally for another year (haven't signed anything as it's not up until July), but I then find somewhere else to live, can I move? Or am I tied to the first place by a verbal agreement? I haven't agreed to anything yet but can't decide whether to give my two months notice and stay here, or move somewhere else.
