Hi Princess87..I was under anesthetic for egg collection so didn't feel it then, but few days following that I had some cramps and I did take it very easy, yes I took the week off work.
Going to the clinic wasn't stressful at All specially seeing dr royAs nurse Cheryl's - she was so sweet. I went in everyday for my injections and they closely monitor you..so you get to see familiar faces - everyone is supporting you, and you feel good they all praying for you..it's all positive smiles :))
Yes I am 6 months pregnant with twins! You will be too very soon..good luck and God bless xx
I even did acupuncture throughout until I got positive pregnancy test.
I too did ivf with Roya at fakih (Ghina was away on my cd2 - she was my first choice). Now pregnant in the first go with twins! Very expensive yes..
I did overstimulate (Ohss). And didn't feel like I had much discussion regarding embryo transfer as we wanted to transfer 1 but felt pressurized to go with both. Only wish they froze the embryos..
Good luck xx
I did Ivf at fakih with dr roya. It all went great..now 6months pregnant with twins (scary and anxious at same time). I also went to dr Pankaj at JLT clinic as a first choice, but he was all over the place at our first consult, I didn't feel I was of much importance there.
With my first consult at fakih dr Michael came in and was so confident that I would get pregnant in the first go..with that positivity I went with him. Yes expensive and specially during the first 12 weeks when you go for scans and if it's twins they charge you double!
2 issues I had - I overstimulated (Ohss). After the egg retrieval I didn't get much updates till the day I went in for embryo transfer. We only wanted to transfer 1 as the complications of twins scared me..but felt so pressured in that operation kind of room - went for both! I wish there was more of discussion re. Embryo transfer, twins vs singleton pregnancies etc to make an efficient decision..
Anyway all done now! Good luck xx
