Please have a look at life works counselling Dubai web page. www.counsellingdubai.com Tel 043942464 I have seen a therapist there (Sabine) and it was great help. You might need to wait a little while to be seen for the first time as they are usually fully booked but once you are in, easier to get subsequent appointments. Hope this helps

How awful. I'm glad they've caught them and hopefully it won't happen again anytime soon. With your permission Ariana, I'd be grateful if I could post your statement on the Facebook Group for the Meadows, Lakes and Springs Community? https://www.facebook.com/groups/356982741075640/ Sure, go ahead. I actually got permission from my friend to post this here and she said she would be happy if people are warned.

Heard good things about Sanjeev Kapoor's restaurants (Options in Trade Center Convention Tower and Khazana-not sure where this is). Haven't been to either of these personally.

See, I would have laughed at that and then phoned all the family and said guess whats in the garage. Then they would have laughed as well. I wouldnt have bothered phoning to have it taken away tho - I would have just moved it out of the garge onto the road and probably laughed about that as well. I like a good laugh :) in a perfect world yes, but no. suppose someone did steel it, done something or transported something in it, then you drive it, leaving your finger prints all over it? in my opinion she done the right thing. Exactly the way I thought, this is Dubai... So, was about to call the police when two very apologetic hotel employees arrived. One of them left his card. Turns out it might be possible to identify who did this using hotel/ club cameras. Whoever did this owes me a big apology!

There is a center that I know offers therapy for spec needs children. Perhaps you could contact them directly to ask for advice? http://www.parentingdubai.com/index_files/kidsfirstmedicalcenter.htm Also there is another one somewhere in healthcare city called "childhood early intervention medical center" http://www.childeimc.com/services.html. This one does offer ABA I think <em>edited by Ariana on 17/09/2012</em>

I have used Nex to move about 5-6 boxes (clothes, books, toys) once from Turkey to UK and once from Turkey to UAE. http://www.nex.com.tr/ Found them to be reliable.

Just doing a bit of researchonline and there are mixed reviewson ear candling- some saying it can be quite dangerous if done incorrectly. Has anyone had it done compared to syringing and which is better? One of my ears got blocked so much once to the point that I had hearing problems. I have syringing done twice in the last 10 years and I did not find it uncomfortable. My GP back in the UK told me that syringing should not be done often as it removes all the wax which acts as a protective layer? He first asked me to try olive oil for a couple of days, then prescribed me some ear drops but none of these worked and I got it washed out. Never heard of ear candling and I personally would not have it done as it sounds risky.

We have a quick chat couple of times every day. If at night, it is a little longer and the topic could be anything (his work, my work, our child, daily life, news etc.) He also lets me know when he is landed, and he e-mails me a copy of his flight details and his hotel bookings. He flies so often to so many different countries that I sometimes forget which country he went. I find all of the above necessary for me to keep my sanity and keep the marriage going. I believe I have the right to ask that he keeps in touch given that he is away 5 days a week. We have been together for the last 5 years and he has been away travelling for 3 and a half years of it! Go figure. I try not to call him during the day unless it is absolutely necessary so that he has his business day to himself ( If I call, he always answers his phone even in a meeting and tells me he is busy and will call back). I personally could not make the marriage work if he did not call me daily but again every relationship has its own dynamics.
