Works well in Pakistan humidity; am assuming SriLankan weather will be similar Yes, Srilanka is almost the same as Pakistan...where can i find this in Dubai? Karaja is available in Debenhams - Mall of the Emirates (and I assume other Debenhams also) as well as at VavaVoom in Mirdif City Centre Thanks..as i am just on my way to Mirdiff! :)

Ponds white beauty cream absorbs oil very well for quite a few hours. Appletiser...have tried it....it melts away for me even in Dubai's air-conditioned environment....

I'd just go for a tinted sunscreen like the Bioderma one. It provides great coverage, giving you an even texture, then just brush a little bronzer/blusher for a bit of a glow. The less you wear the better as it will all start sliding off! Thats a good idea.....i have seen these products in Pharmacies but they usually dont have a tester...any place i can try it first? Not sure.. I get mine from Boots, maybe ask them and see if they let you try it. Thanks...will try and see

You can always take those powder papers to (excuse the expression) mop yourself up before the camera comes out. They are cheap and small and easy to throw in your pocket or bag. I remember Body Shop used to have them.. Why not just keep facial wipes and a compact powder on hand? This way you don't have to wear full make up (Do use a good SPF moisturizer though) Thanks Marroosh...good advise but then the whole hassle of wiping and re-applying...:(

As per the flights, try Srilankan Airlines. Service is not so great but if i am not wrong you can bag 2 Business class tickets for about AED6000.

I always give my housemaid my old cast offs .. she loves them ... ! she keeps them and packs them and ships them to her home country ! As i found my brand new T-Shirts and Pyjamas in my maid's cupboard and upon questioning....."Madam gave it to me"......and many other clothing i found there which i dont remember if i gave her or not....and same for toiletries! well thats just your fault then isnt it if you dont remember giving them to her !!!! Was just a suggestion......if you can remember after 4 years, Good for You!

Learnt from experience: Discuss that you will not tolerate any kind of theft...eve how small it is ! Dont give her you discarded clothes Tell her she is not to use any brand (nivea/herbal essence etc) that you use ! NOTE: I am in the process of firing a theif maid and looking for a new one.......a contract would be helpful for me also!
