If you are preparing your child for the assessment, there is not much you can do. Your child will be assessed for the grade they are currently in not next year. They will have to have a good command of the material that have been presented so far in their current school year.

Thanks for the ideas, as I look at the areas I am leaning towards the Similand Islands, looks like a good place to dive a couple of times and seems away from the tourist area. Any thoughts on this chain of islands?

You are so right it is lovely and way out of my price range. Do you happen to have an idea of a mid price range place? I get so confused looking at all the choices and I believe a recomendation would be best.

I beg to differ about GEMS American Cirr schools. Try DAA Dubai American Academy, it is a top tier school.

OK but should we really blame the victim? This nice lady was trying to warn us not hear how her husband was in the wrong. Sorry to hear this happened to your husband, as a diver, beach goer etc it is a shame we can't even leave our keys on the beach.

Seems from their website you are applying for either an English Language teacher of Adjunct Faculty position. For either position this seems like a very long interview. If it is CLC, take a close look at their director. That being said it is a good company.

Yes, I believe they should have phoned you to inform you of their decision. You did not mention how old your child is or what the infraction was. [u'>This has nothing to do with your payment for school, if you child was a danger or disruption to themselves or others in the class/school then the amount you pay is not the issue here at all. [/u'> The only issue is that you were not informed of your child's punishment. this being said, the school may have a very good reason for the degree of punishment imposed on your child, again they should have informed you of this fact right away.

I would bet they did tell you in their welcome package or transfer certificate requirements. This is not the accepting schools responsibility; it is the parents responsibility to produce the correct documentation. I am not trying to be unkind here but I work for a school and it would not matter how many times parents were informed about a procedure, it would not sink in. Frustrating for both parties I can assure you. Making it worse is having to satisfy the MOE requirements. The bottom like is the schools do their best and try and work with the changes/incomplete documentation in a (hopefully) curious manner.

Make your own Difficulty: Easy Instructions Chopped Peppermint Macerate the Peppermint Chop, or macerate, 1/4 cup of dried peppermint leaves. This can be accomplished using a food processor, grinder, or mortar and pestle. Preparing the Extraction Place the chopped peppermint leaves in a sterile glass jar. Cover the peppermint leaves 1/2 cup vodka, apple cider vinegar, or glycerin. Any of these three liquids can be used with adequate results. Add 1/2 cup of filtered water. Cover with a tight fitting lid. Extracting the Peppermint Allow the peppermint to extract into the liquid for 2 weeks. Shake the mixture daily to aid in the extraction. Strain the Peppermint Leaves Strain the peppermint leaves from the liquid with a strainer, or cheese cloth. Discard the spent peppermint leaves. The components of the peppermint have now been extracted into the liquid and you can use this peppermint extraction alone or as a base for preparation of herbal syrups and honeys. edited by athomemom on 29/11/2011
