You'll find it really difficult as you need copies of your Emirates ID and residency visa to secure all utilities here... The EID generally comes quicker than your passport, so it could be enough to provide your EID first, and then inform then your visa is in the process?

Hi! How does one go about obtaining a Police Clearance Certificate from Dubai?
I'm interested in finding out if you can still request for one if you've moved away and maybe have the company PRO do it or do we have to come to Dubai with all paperwork and apply in person. If so, how long would the process take?

Moved back to Dubai after being away for 4 years. Got a new job here but struggled to get a Certificate as still don't have Emirates ID yet. Basically, the way to do it here will be to go to Police HQ (by the airport) and bring:
- passport photo
- passport
- letter from the employer (that they require Certificate)
I needed it very urgently and was trying different police departments and got lucky at Dry Docks Police station, I think they open like 24/7. Lady was nice to me as I explained the situation, I just showed her the Offer Letter (passport and photograph) and since they dont have me in the system, she took my fingerprints, I paid the fee and collected my Certificate in 2 days! Hope that helps :)
