You need to talk to me. We lived in Dubai for a few years- we are from Sydney and have 2 primary aged children. Our kids went to Greenfields and I taught there as well. The school is great and very comparable to the Aussie curriculum. We lived in the Springs for a while and I did the drive. It isnt too bad but most kids at the school live in the Green Community. We then lived in the Green Community for a while and I have to say it is probably one of the best places to live if you are from Aus as in the nice weather the kids are outside most of the time as the parks are great and the pools as well. All the kids from school get together in the afternoons and play soccer or ride bikes just like in Aus. Also there are great after school activities run at the school so it is good to live close by for easy pick ups and drop offs. The buses are good but expensive and you will find your kids are being picked up before 7am which is a real shock when you are from a country where school starts at 9am. But you get used to it (eventually). There will be a bus pick up point somewhere in the Meadows so you will find you prob need to drop them at the bus then pick them up in the arvos. Overall I would recommend the school especially to Aussie families as it seems to be similiar to the curriculums here. Good luck with it all. edited by BackinOz on 27/06/2011

I would imagine that even if she sells it she will still owe the bank a lot of money as it is probably worth half of what she agreed to pay for it and for what the mortgage is.
