I would personally recommend Nora at Zen Asia Spa (in JLT across the road from the Marina). Wonderful girl and have always been satisfied with her work. I cannot tell you though how the other girls do gel(ish) nails but Nora's pretty good.

I have used Nasco Karaoglan (they offer coverage through the MEDNET network). They're fairly decent with the network of clinics/pharmacies and at the time I was looking for private medical insurance they were the only ones that I could find that offered value for money for individual medical insurance. If you are in the 26-30 year age group it works out to be approx. AED 3500 for UAE coverage although in this package they include insurance for other Asian/Arab countries. However, if you would like to have coverage in the States, Canada and Europe as well, it jumps up to close to the AED 5000 range. Obviously the older one is the higher the premiums. These prices were in place in early Jan. Hope this helps.
