Try Kuzina, a brand found everywhere at Carrfour, Waitrose, Coop. They have cheese fillings and feta with spinach filling rolls. They are already frozen and are really good.

I think you can check with UAE Red Crescent if they take these toys and send them to the refugee children of Syria and Iraq. They can really make use of such toys.

Congratulations :) I am in my 23 week. I have terrible experiences at the American Hospital and City Hospital so I won't recommend them ( i know many ladies don't agree with me). I recently starting seeing Dr. Hammami at Armada Medical Center at JLT, very knowledgable and experienced. You can look the center up on google. Good luck !

I am completing my MBA at Durham University, they call it Global MBA program instead of online. The university does not have any center here, but the team at the university campus were pretty helpful through-out the way. My only regret is that with distance learning programs is that it takes a lot of time.

I didn't smell anything. Are you at the apartments or villas? They usually post bulletin sheets to alert residents of such events.

I was over at the consulate for the same question two weeks ago. If the person is not a resident of Dubai then they can go to the embassy in AD where they will renew it in two days.

I ended up using Flowershop.ae. They have a wide selection of arrangements posted on their website and they deliver all through out UAE in the same day, expect fridays. They were prompt and professional :)

I would recommend Dr. Makki at American Hospital, I had issues with lower back pain and knee soreness due to hip bursitis & ITB . He explained everything thoroughly. I am currently doing physiotherapy sessions with Magheda at the same hospital and she is really professional. I am feeling much better now….

Hi … There is one at Jumeirah Beach road, just opposite Masion Chic. A small shop, they charged me 10 AED for alternation and they were good. Cant remember their shop name though. I found them much closer than going to Satwa.

Did mine at Knowledge Village 1st floor, you need passport picture, your passport with residency visa and 200 AED cash. It took only 5 minutes.

Hi Lennox79, there isn't any bus shuttle from Palm to MOE or anywhere else ( that is a marvelous idea thought:D) . We live on the shoreline we have access to the beach club, pool and gym. If you are renting then the landlord will be settling all the financial cost of these services, double check with him and make sure that he has settled the amount or you won't be getting the passes.

I think they are preparing the beaches for the Palma studios. They put the fence up near Building 1 for the upcoming Azure Residences… I don't know if we will have any beach left in few years :( My advice go to another club house to enjoy the beach.

I just returned from the US. I like TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Nordstrom Rack and of course Macy's. It is the discount season, so you can't go wrong visiting any of these. You can get additional 10% discount from Macy's when you tell them that you are an international visitor. Happy Shopping !!

I was job searching for more than a year, but I guess I wasn't searching hard. Got busy with my MBA afterwards. I am not trying to encourage you to go for freelancing, but check this website www.nabbesh.com. They have listings of projects looking for people. It can keep you busy till you find your dream job… Good luck Poshbird 87

It is heart-breaking. Re-charity, many initiatives are taking place in Dubai, if you search on Facebook you can find fundraising events, garage sales and even collection points to receive any donations ( old clothe, blankets, etc…)

I came across ID Design Outlet, which is near Abu Hail area, they were offering good discounts on furniture and home accessories. Does any one know if other shops ( like western, blooming dale's, zara home, etc …) have similar outlets?

Union Sq. is a great place for your hotel, We stayed at the Hilton last yr and it was great, we were able to walk to China Town, Little Italy and the wharf. Just a note, have some warm clothes with you for SF trip, the weather changes frequently. I just returned from LA, went to Hammer Museum if you are into museums and other cultural venues. They were advertising Carmen the opera, so this is also a nice thing to do if you have time. For Vegas, my favor hotel is Wynn. Check out cirque du soleil shows, you shouldnt miss going to one of them while you are in vegas. Have a wonderful trip :)

It is nice of you to host an iftar :) it is essential to have the Ramadan juices ( Jallab, Tamr Hindi and Qamardine) You can get them from any supermarket the brand I usually use is Kasatli. You simply add water and ice. As for salad, you can do fatuoush or Tabule. If you want to have some ideas for Ramadan dishes check out www.basmaty.com, they also have a youtube channel. Good luck :)

I heard of a syrian supermarket near Lulu called Olabi, i think it might have some products there. Didnt go there though. Having trouble finding such spices and products myself. The Union Coop in Barsha Mall is a great place to search at.

I have been searching for a job in Dubai for the past 7 weeks - it is really frustrating not to get any feedback when you send your CV out. I rely on Linkedin, i check the daily added jobs, i do the same with Bayt.com, i even went and attended few of their morning come-back to work coffees @ Marina Mall. Another thing that helps is registering job alerts with certain companies that interests you, you will be notified whenever an opening is posted. I guess the key here is to mass-send your CV and keep your fingers crossed :) Good Luck :)))
