Flew Garuda Airlines last summer to Jakarta with LO (2 yrs old) and it went perfectly fine. Personal entertainment, leg space was good and food was not bad at all. We flew at night so all LO and I did was sleep. Yes, Garuda has a LONG way to be on the same level as SGP Airlines or Emirates, but for the price you pay, i thought it was fine and no complaint. All the international aircrafts, to this part of the world and Amsterdam to say the least, are all new. Not sure how the Indonesian - Australia/NZ airplane status though.... Ps: the stewardesses were helpful too especially as I was flying solo with my little one.

We are wondering about the same question .... Hubby very likely won't be able to take days off over Eid too - but if he does, probably only for 1 day. And that day, I'd like to organise some family during the day and some time alone just DH and I in the evening. She is not a muslim and has ample time off during the day when LO is at school - and it's not that she will be working 'full time' during the time off - just want her to be on stand by if possible. Are we mean to give her 1 day plus her usual day off? we will give her Xmas off regardsless ....

I've been having problems with my shoulder and neck and too the chance from last week special deal to avail the AED 75 Chiropractor visit and assessment instead of aed 380. The doctor was great and has done some great diagnosis. She has also explained that I need to have 5-10 sessions with her to fix the problem (lots of bone cracking sound I anticipate!!!). The delima is as follows: The medical centre is not in the 'network' of our insurance company and it doesn't cover Chiropractor treatment. We have the option of paying 20% of the total bill as being in an 'out of network' medical centre. However the doctor has informed me that the invoice will show physiotherapy and not chiropractor and should be OK otherwise it will not be covered by the insurance company. Has anyone been in a similar situation and what did you do? If you suggest to go to Orthopedic - who would you suggest? Which clinic so I can check if is is covered by our insurance company. Hope somoene out there can guide me - really want to get this problem fixed. Thank you
