Think we may sell our house back in OZ as too hard sending money back to cover it. DH said heard that our $ is the most over rated G10 currency. With interest rates going up may drive Australia into a huge recession. Thinking of buying an investment property in Europe while their prices are low as we all know Australian house prices are some of the most expensive in the World

It's more for the Europeans , but in saying that some OZ schools have brought it in as well. Most International schools in Asia have them as people travel around a lot, so their children can adjust easy. When they are starting to think of uni IB sometimes is easier for different Universities to work out their grades

Everyone does...wear 1 these days. I think it's the norm to actually wear a bikini now when pregnant. Be proud of your body and being a future mother!

They are all great. really depends on your taste. I got 1 for my son's 23rd b'day so I personally think they are more for adults than children. The chocolate mouse is my favourite

I agree with shyzie, make them do simple things, especially around meal time. We give DS a allowance each week but deduct an amount for when he is naughty or misses doing the job.

I have the bottom of the range one, not sure of name. They are great so dont go getting the most expensive as all u want is a cup of coffee. We actually have 2, our other 1 back in OZ. We actually heat the milk in the microwave then pour over the coffee.

The article by the independent newspaper is an excellent read. He explains that if a person really knows what they wish to do at uni then A levels is possibly the way to go. If they have no idea (most don't ) then IB is better, as it gives them a broader range to choose from. DS is just choosing subjects for grade 10 at moment so won't be long till he has to decide which way to go BUT as we are from OZ and not sure if we are staying or even going to another Asian country where IB is in all International schools, IB seems better for us

Really it depends on what country you are coming from. As we are Aussies and from Queensland the Summers aren't that bad! We are always in the pool and the Sun doesn't have the intensity it does back in OZ. Here everything has A/C not like back home soy are better off here. Remember you wont melt if you do venture outside!

1st Off remember how u were brought up! I know the teenagers here cant go out and work at Maccas for their money but they can do chores at home. They do have to know how to vacuum, iron, clean, cook and prepare the vegs for dinner etc etc. 2nd agree with OH what u think is a amount and what she has to pay for. I ave a son who I give 100dhs per week but he needs to pay for his own phone credit, movies, taxis, fun things etc.If he wishes to buy a X Box game then he needs to save some of his allowance. I know girls want more for make up,clothes and personal items but really sit down and budget it out like we all do with our wages.

My butcher at home in OZ said that growth hormones has been banned for a long time. We have eaten meat or chicken nearly everyday for all our lives and wouldn't say we are any taller than the norm!
