I know of an Indonesian lady looking for full time live in employment. She has experience working in Ras Al Khaimah. She is currently leaving her former local employer, due to too many hours. The local sponsor is looking to recover some of his costs from when he originally brought her through an agency, he is looking for dhs 3000 and then there will be the usual visa transfer fees after that. She is about 25 years of age and has worked in Kuwait for 2 years and RAK for 2 years. She speaks Arabic and some English, she can read english and understands most spoken English (which is better face to face as opposed to the telephone!) She has experience with children. She is currently staying in Dubai while searching for a new position if anyone is interested please contact me directly for her telephone number.

Hello, I am a Canadian currently living in Ras Al Khaimah. I have been here with my children since 2008. I am a single mother with four children, ages 18, 16, 8 and 8. I came here originally with an American company which has since left the country and moved on to China. I decided to stay here with my family, since I liked it here so much. I was recently employed in a government office here in RAK, but I had to leave due to sexual harassment. I have taken 3 of my children out of school because I just can't afford the English speaking school here. I have to let my eldest daughter finish her last year of the IB program, so that she can move forward with university. I have been without income since the end of January and I am struggling to feed my children now. Some friends are giving me a few hundred aed here and there to help me. But I also have another problem; I have given the owner of my home a rent check dated May 1, 2011 in the amount of 22,500 aed, which will not clear the bank. I am looking for work, everyday, but so far I haven't had one response to my CV, I am well qualified, but some jobs are 2000aed per month. I don't know where to turn or what to do. I went to my embassy; they said they will give me airline tickets to go home. If I go home, I will have nothing, less than I have here, no home, no furnishings, no job and no money. I don't know where to go for help. I am hoping you can direct me where to go to get some help for my family. It is so frightening being here as a single mother, with the full responsibility of four children and not knowing how I will be able to feed them or house them in the future. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
