Had been to The Adaman, Langkawi in December for honeymoon. Loved the place, private beach, dinner by the beach, rainforest, nature walks, enjoyed every bit of it. Would definitely reccommend. However, Im unsure of the climate in August. Think we're going to take our chances! Probably enjoy the rain by then! Thanks.

Go to Borneo during August - it's dry there! A few hours flight less too. Thanks GM. Where would you stay with two kids? They like a bit of adventure! We went to KK before kids. Looked at Pangkor but not keen on the family rooms. Thanks for your input!

i loathed bali.....have only heard good reports of langkawi - am reading this info with interest for future adventures! Was it the hawkers Kelly? I didn't like the Kuta area but loved exploring the rest of the island, beautiful. Fancy langkawi but not sure if there will be enough to do and if it will be too wet in August, don't mind a bit of rain! Nutty were you bothered with the monkeys and lizards on the beach? I read on trip advisor they were all over?

They can access without going in the security gate so that's not a problem. It's a shade for the garden they say it can't be more than 20sqm which is tiny and we are south facing.

What a huge disappointment. Fab place let down by terrible service by miserable looking staff excePt for the blonde lady doing the seating. I see it's been open for a while now so some serious training needs to be done. Makes More service look good.

I'm an only one and didn't suffer but wish I had siblings. I have two children now and was sure I would have more than one. Good luck with your decision.

Suzy, I could have written your post apart from my kids are older than yours but I am the same age as you. We've just been on holiday and I decided that's it no more! They are at an age where we can have different holidays together, cycling, walking etc. and we like to be active but now I'm back I'm on the fence again! Husband would LOVE another but he travels a lot now. Really difficult. Of course if you go for number 3 you won't regret it because you love your kids and the family would love he/she...

I hate flying. Logically I know it's mad but I feel safer on Sz Rd. than up in the air. Does anyone have any 'cures'? I read about Rescue Remedy, will it make me sleep? Tried natural stress relief tablets sedative tablets from Boots that didn't do anything. I don't drink on flights either so that's out. Thanks for any advice.

Just to let you know that I had an email from Suwannee yesterday several days after I emailed her and days after we received our passport. She apologised but since her email address has been circulated she is now inundated and is trying to answer emails and process passports at the same time. So if anything it's slowing the process down further. Despite the expense the phone call is the only way to expedite your passport being processed. Below is the email address she gave me so I could register my complaint. [email protected]

Max, the call centre is in the UK I think not Germany as they were all Scottish when we called. If you are worried call for piece of mind but maybe wait until Monday. We told them when we were travelling and it was processed the same day. Good luck. Now I can say I'm sure you'll be okay but until you get it it's awful. Fingers crossed for you.

Email was too late as it had already been sent but definitely the phone call. They processed it the same day! So they had it all this time. If you need it quickly then I would call.

Yes they did ours and we were happy with it and the price. However, be very careful to keep records of everything that you pay because she 'forgets' then asks again.

Ordered from cassorole tonoght, bit expensive, but the food was delicious, ordered the lamb, Gratin Dauphinois and the ratatouille, it was yummy, Just had a look. Think it's reasonable if it's good quality. Good ingredients don't come cheap here.

Any recent experiences? I'm planning to do Rongai route in late Aug/early Sept. TIA Yes, did the same route this year. Great route with stunning views of Kili and so quiet until you get to Kibo Huts where you'll need your earplugs. Good luck!

My friends are involved with a group called Gulf for Good so they do lots of different climbs. I know my friends climbed Kili last year. So if you want to do a climb and charity at the same time check them out. I don't know if they are planning to do Kili again soon but I know they are doing Everest base camp next. Here is the link to their fb page https://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=49001788073 They are doing it next July. Think they tend to do the Marangu route.

This story doesn't live up to the title and it would get no stars on Amazon for me. Kylie, didn't your mum tell you to go [b'>before[/b'> you got to the bursting stage? Too funny! BTW, I occasionally use the disabled toilet because it is nearer (in the cinema) or I want my two kids with me and it's bigger but Kylie/Emma you'll be pleased to know I am super quick! ;)

Hi there! As I couldn't find liquid glucose at the time I tried marshmallow fondant from the same website below. You can google it. It was so easy and quick I will use it again. Has a lovely flavour too that the kids love.
