Hi, I second acupuncture, you might want to do a few sessions though. An osteopath might help too. My friend was also very happy with the Dorn method.

Or if it is busy, you just pay around AED 200 extra (can't remember the exact amount), think it is called VIP service, and they do it for you, whilst you sit in an A/C room. Never takes more than 20min.

sandfly which law firm did your friend use? Could she share any tips? I would really like to help my friend. Also I think there are many cases like this happening with other companies in Dubai and it would be good to know whether anything can be done to stop it. I guess the first one would be to never sign anything.

Hi ladies, I was talking to my friend this morning who told me about a horror story that they are having with a well known Real Estate company that has two common British names in their name. Evidently they cashed their 2 cheques without doing any work. Just wanted to warn everyone! Be careful when giving any cheques over and remember that the T&C's are probably not even worth the paper they are written on! I can't believe that companies can get away with this type of behavior! Hi not sure about nursing but they do allow mature students. I did psychology here as a mature student. I did it with Middlesex University but there are many other great options. The knowledge village or academic city will probably have a list of unies on their websites.

Hi also got married in Dubai, it is very easy. We had it on the beach but now they do not allow different locations anymore so you have to do it in a church. Jebeli Ali is great for it, several churches to choose from. You get your marriage certificate, then get it translated into arabic and then get a UAE Foreign Ministry stamp and you are married! Like Bean Sprout We also communicated with the pastor over the phone/email and then paid someone to do all the running around for us, it's just easier. For us it was easier to get married here and then have our dream wedding again in the UK. Have a wonderful day and all the best in your married life!

You should not but if you do then make sure the sushi was made from previously frozen fish. You might be missing some omega-3/6 so try include a couple of times other fish or take flax seed . It might help with the cravings. Vegetarian sushi is another alternative. I know not the same :-)

mrsb is correct, rose water does not give much taste in cooking. Buy a good quality rose shabat as some are horrible.

What EmmaRitz and Madge_Gustard are saying is correct. The cannot increase the rent by that much. They can only increase by I think 5% but they missed the window of opportunity for that as well. Call RERA and talk to them, they are usually good.

In regards to omega supplementation you can always include more fish into your child's diet rather than taking supplements. Good quality one (not ready-made fish fingers). Flax seed is also a great alternative.

It might be the change of a teacher, the start of the school year is always challenging without or with a new teacher. I wood go and talk to someone but also look into your child's diet. Sometimes food sensitivities can contribute to change in behavior. I would also try a multivitamin supplement for 6 weeks and see how you go. Also Spirulina has been shown to improve energy levels, which might then help your child to concentrate better. Good luck!

Depends on your budget but we stayed at the Shanghri la in Muscat and I cannot recommend it enough. The journey was around 5 hours I think but we took our time.

We left our cats at Pet Palace a couple of times whilst on holidays and they were good. I know they accommodate dogs as well. Also found Posh Paws on the internet which looked very good and specious but don't have any personal experience with them. Alternatively you can pay someone to come and feed and walk your dog. That's what we do now with out cats. We pay someone's maid but I know there are companies that can do it.

Agree with pollydxb1, the traffic and crowds are crazy. We went a few years back and thought that taking the metro would be a good idea to avoid the traffic but it took us an hour just to get out of the metro station at 9pm. They also shut 2 or 3 stations around there for at least 1 hour before and an hour after midnight... Never again!

Very nice hotel and great golf course just across the road where my husband enjoyed a game. Stayed there last weekend. There is also a nice seafood restaurant in the Al Hamra hotel next door if you fancy something else. It took us just over an hour from the Marina.
