Roaccutane is for severe acne and it is not the good time of the year to start, sun should be avoid while you follow the treatment. Epiduo is a cream which works quite well, you can buy it here in the pharmacy without prescription. All my teens use it (it has been prescribed by the dermatologist). If she gets irritated a little bit she can use it one day out of two. Antibiotics for acne also works, but most of the time it comes backs as soon as you stop.

Taillevent is really nice but my favorite one is Apicius (www.restaurant-apicius.com/). Not sure at all that you will find a table for next week, it is really unique and as you can imagine really expensive. If you are just looking for a nice bistrot with nice food (typical parisian restaurant) you can try cinq-mars-restaurant.com/., I was there last week-end, it is charming, even if it is a little bit noisy. The location is great and you can walk from there to the Jjardin des Tuileries or La Place Vendôme. The most romantic side of Paris is probably l'île Saint- Louis. If you come back at summer time you will be able to try he new terrasse of La Maison Blanche, which offers an amazing view on Paris.

Before giving birth in France, you should probably book an appointment with a gynecologist in Paris. Private or public hospitals in Paris are fine. The Maternité Catholique Sainte-Félicité in Paris 15ème is really good. You could also go to Bordeaux directly, they have good hospitals, a better weather and it is a really beautiful city !

Al ghazil mall? or the other end? Near Al Ghazil mall i don't think there has been a new masjid for a while - if you are talking about Jumeriah Grand Masjid; it's always been that volume - and it's not particularly loud. edited by sand_fairy on 12/11/2012 Jumeirah Grand Masjid is not loud. The one i am thinking of is a little mosque near al Ghazil Mall (one of my friend said to me that it was built 2/3 years ago, not that new for Dubai..). We called today and we have to call back tomorrow.

We have moved to Jumeirah 1 this summer and one new Mosque on Al Wasl is very loud (we all sleep with ear plugs) and we are now considering to change house because we are starting to be exhausted to be awake everyday so early. Where on Al Wasl is the new mosque? I also live in Jumeira 1, and the only place I've seen a new mosque being constructed is on Beach Rd near Al Ijaza Cafeteria. Just at the beginning of Al Wasl, near a very tall building (i don't know the name of this building).

We also had the worse problem with this shop, very similar to what happened to you. The worse shop is the one in MOE, we had less problem with the shop in Mirdiff. All i can tell you is that we did not get our money back and wasted a lot of time there. They were totally unprofessional, to a point that i had never seen before. Good luck !

I am not sure that the gardeners have the choice to accept or not to accept the job. Most of the time they don't even have one bottle of water...anyway, with the AC on, behind our computers, it always easy to give opinions and orders.

Poor gardeners. With this heat, in the middle of the day it is easy to understand that they need to rest, even for 4 hours. They have probably started early in the morning. If you want the job to be done quickly, pick up a different time in the year. OP already said that. But they don't seem to have done ANY work at all by the sounds of it. It is 43 degrees today, how can anyone work with this heat outside ?

DIA. Letter from the director : Out of 60 Diploma candidates, an 86% pass rate; An average DP score of 33.4 points out of a maximum possible 45 points; Highest score 44 points; 7 candidates earned 40 points and above, with 14 scoring 36 or more. To the best of my knowledge, these are perhaps the best IB results amongst schools in UAE.

http://www.route-napoleon.com/Haute-Provence This website should give you information on where to stop. You can drive on the "route napoleon" from Grenoble and make little stops everywhere. Take your time it worth it. You can sleep in really nice "chambre d'hôtes" for one night, it is a nice way to meet people and to learn about the city.

I wonder why everybody says that we have to accept the viewings before the end of the lease. If it is not written in the contract, you don't have to do it. We had the similar problem. For one month i tried to organized visits, but real estate agents were calling us all the time, ringing at the door, requesting visits on week-end and we also had visitors coming on their own at 9 PM. We wrote an email to our land lord and explained him the situation and also the fact that most of the time my husband was away and i was alone in the house with kids. That things can be stollen (it happened to someone i know). He very shortly wrote back to say that he totally understands the situation and he will wait until the end to start viewings.

Look here for hairdressers in Paris. You can choose from budget to pricey to English spoken. http://www.qype.co.uk/fr101-paris/categories/26-hairdressers-in-paris ETA: As for staying there with young kids, I would say 3-4 days is good. edited by Alismum on 17/05/2012 For hair dresser you can pick up any Dessange, they are quite good.

@australiajudy: thanks for the info, will have a look on their website.

Hello Eden, If you want to get a degree with a french university you can check the website IEDParis 8. We are actually 6 students in Dubai studying on line. You have to be really motivated because it is quite though sometimes to work without a frame and also to be a little bit isolated from the others. The Alliance Française welcome us twice a year for our final examinations. The level of the university is really good and teachers come from all over the word.

Hello I have learned today that our house is now on sale. Anyway our Dewa bill were so incredibly high that i would not have recommended anyone to rent the house..Good luck ! Breteuil, can totally understand what a nightmare it was to find a suitable home in the Meadows. We are in Meadows now, but have been looking around the last 2 months trying to get a handle on the probability of finding something decent in Meadows around June/July if we don't stay in this villa. Personally, based on what I've seen and the conversations I've had with agents, I wouldn't place a bet on our side! Can I ask where abouts in Meadows you are and how many bedrooms your villa has? Good luck finding somewhere you love. A home should be something you look forward to returning to. The rest of this city can be so harsh...

We have made the decision to put our french son in an IB school in Dubai when he was 10 years old. He is now fluent in english but he is loosing his french, so he has to take lessons twice a week to keep up with his mother's tong language (grammar). The main problem will be to find a french school who will accept him in France, when you will come back To keep up with IB in France is also difficult, IB schools are not numerous, very expensive and it is quite difficult to get in. Most of the IB schools in France only start IB in the last two years of high school. I really think that it is easy to switch from English to French when the child is under 8/9 years old but more difficult after. I was in a french school, moved to the states at the age of 13 in the american system and went back to the french system after a few years. It was not very tough this way. Much harder to go from the IB/American to the super academic french system.

Dubai seems to be the perfect place to leave in for a lot of people, but a lot has to do with where you come from. I am not use to a life where i spend so much time in a car, where the only things to do have to be in relation with sports, food and clothes. Life here is not real for me and even if we pay huge taxes in France, even if people are on strike all the time, if it rains a lot, if the traffic is pretty bad, if i have no maid full time, i miss that life. My kids will be bilingual when we will come back and probably more opened minded that when we arrived these are the really positive aspects. The other one is that being in Dubai gives you the opportunity to travel everywhere and to save money, which is already a lot.

Our situation was slightly different. We started with a new maid who was on a visit visa, at the same time my husband had to change his own visa. Meanwhile the visit visa of our new maid had expired. I was quite worried too because she stayed at our house 25 days after the expiration of her visit visa, but finally it is resolved. She will fly to Oman tomorrow and we will have to pay for the fine (which i quite expensive after 25 days..). Good luck.

The same thing has happened to us with our new maid from Sri Lanka, she had her visa 25 days after the expiration of her visa. The fine is 200 on the first day and 100 everyday. quote=Claire08'>Hi my DH has just changed job so we have cancelled our old residency and are waiting for a new one to start, we all have to be processed first before we can re-sponsor our maid. Our visas were cancelled on 5th Jan and my DH visa is nearly processed, how long can my Sri Lankan maid stay in the country for, can we just pay a fine while we wait to process her visa or will we have to send her home?? I'm getting very nervous as her 30 days is up soon. I hope someone can help me ? Thanks

I notice a few remarks from fellow EW,who have made comments about their younger years. We are women or were girls who are much more mature in our teenage years. You cannot compare boys and girls at the same age. Not sure if you have teenage boys but they are NOT responsible enough to make their own decisions! As I have 3 boys, well 2 are men now, they definitely need to have boundaries set in place early If we want our kids to become mature we can not always over protect them and at 16 they can start to be responsible a little bit. My daughter is in her last year of high school, she will be on her own next year to start medical school in a different country, mummy and daddy will not be there to tell her that she has to go to bed. Being a teenager is between the end of the childhood and the start of the adult's world. We can not control everything as if they were 5 years old, which does not mean that there is no boundaries at all.
