Hello, My son is actually at DIA in year 6. The teacher is great, the level is good and this first year is really positive. My worries now concerns the middle school, i don't have any feed back from anyone. My son is really happy and to make him change again next year is a difficult choice. If a mother of a child of the elementary school could give me her opinions, it would be very helpful. Thanks.

Ouaouh ! 19 years old... With very high expectations like this, they will probably have to lie to you very soon, you don't leave them other options. At 19 years old you are not really what you call a teenager anymore. To be scared of everything is a strange way to educate someone. They need to breathe, to have some freedom to grow up. Whatever you do they will have to make their own experiments of life, good and bad. Your sisters will not necessarely lie to you because you don't check or double check. Trust, confiance are important words for a relationship. Good luck

I think you should talk to the parents, but be ware they'll probably think its not true, and they'll accuse your daughter of lying. Be careful of your LO though, I saw a documentary on pedophiles and there was a part about one who started at 12 harassing 4-8yo in his local park. At 12 years old is still a very young boy, difficult to be a pedophile when you are yourself a child. The boy needs to see someone because what it did his wrong and he knows it. To have this kind of behaviours means that he needs help. Your should talk in private to the parents. He is probably going through a hard time to act this way and his parents should know about it. This kind of discussion is very dangerous because we make projection of our sexual adult life on a 12 years old. He is much older than your daughter but he is still very young. Your daughter talked to you about it which is always positive and the best way to express her anxiety, feelings, whatever. She knows now that you agree with the fact that what he did was wrong and feels secure about it.

It is such a nightmare finding a maid who is actually humble and respectful ..... biatch and mare are exactly the words that come to my mind also!! Breteuil .... I am sorry you had this situation. It is just awful to invest time into getting them settled and used to your way of life and then they change and we are left with no choice. Sorry to be stupid but what is a PRO? And also, do you get the 9000 DHS back for all the monies spent on VISA, medical check etc? I havent heard that before. I thought you only get back the deposit of 2000 DHS when they leave the country? We have lost the money for the medical check, the plane ticket to make her come and a lot of time. I was going to pay for her plane ticket to send her back but the lady at the immigration told us that she had to pay for it. She made up her mind so quickly that we had not been through the last step for the visa but we had already made the deposit and almost all the process was done. We got our money back easely. The difference is that it was less than a month for us to make the cancellation and that she did not have her visa yet. Maybe that's why we got our deposit back. The PRO is someone who works for many companies and he will help you with the administration (ID, Visa etc). He helps you a lot and makes you gain time. Good luck

Hi, Sorry to read this, the same story happened to us recently. Our maid came from India(very long and expensive process to make her come) and once she was is Dubai in our house, she said that she wanted to work in a school and do part time for us...We had to go back to the immigration and do all the process backward. The lady at the immigration was really nice and told the maid that she had a really good salary and could not understand our behaviour. Her reply was that she did not want to be a maid.. You will get your 2000 DHRS deposit back quickly and have to wait a little bit more for the 9700. She stole a lot of things from our house too, so be careful before she leaves. Now we have hire someone else and everything is fine. She was already in Dubai and we only had to go once to the immigration, the PRO could handle the rest. Good luck.

Just for info, the scan is for the luggages is at the entrance of the airport, just before the check in. I never ask if i can go and they never ask anything..I help my mother at the check in and go back without any problem. We did not even know that we were not allowed to go this far...

It was the terminal for Air France. I go through each time witout any problem, and if Dentro does not trust me, please free to try... My mother had a very heavy suitcase and we always help her. But that was not the point of my post. The belt was an expensive one, and i am pretty sure that the guy from the security thought that i was going to take a plane and will not stand stand there for 10 minutes and request to see the police for a belt. He was so rude with me. Any way, this guy showed up with my belt and left. The all situation was totally absurd.
