I'm not sure if EID effects the times but you can get a bus gr abu dhabi bus station got 15 AED it's clean And air coned. I used it twice a week for three weeks. It takes an hour and 20 mins if you get off the first stop in Dubai it's right next to the metro. To get backs a bit of mission as the only place you can get it from is ghubaiba. Worth it thou as it's only 15 AED back too. Hope it helps. Emma

When is it? I had mine yesterday and can quite honestly say it's all about being yourself. There's some group activities, role play and English test and if you get throu an interview basic questions about customer service and working as a team. Great day timert people as there's lots of waiting around. Hope it went/goes well.

Beela uk That sounds great I'd love a day pass to come and sit by the pool with you. I've heard alot about the British club and would like to see what it's like. I'm popping back to the uk for a couple of weeks just to tie up some loose ends but i'd love to come along before go if that would be ok. Emma x

Brit expat 78 thank you the British club is the next place on my list of places to go. It's really tricky to meet people especially at this time of year.

Hi Kim I went to my first coffee morning today and I was really nervous which i soon realised was silly. The ladies at the coffee mornings are lovely and there's a wide range of ages. it was great just to be able to talk to other women and find out a few things I was struggling with. Some people have been here months others years and I found it really helpful. Leave your email on here and I'll let you know about the next one. and we can sort out meeting up for a coffee or something. More them happy to help. Emma

Hi I just moved from the uk to abu dhabi and im 24. I've been here for two weeks. I moved here with my partner but we don't have any children. There does seem to be a lot of ladies nights going on but I haven't been to any yet as I'm a little nervous to go on my own. if u do move let me know and maybe we could go together. As for te job, move Dubai is so close that you can always visit I've been back and forth 4 times in the past week for job interviews. If u use the bus it's 15 dhs each way. Cheap!!!! Good luck.
