Hi there, bright coloured outfit with the head dress you show would be fine.Make up need not be too heavy but bright colours yes.You could go with a sari too, affordable here in Dubai from Lulus top floor, they may even sort you out with an underskirt & top.Good luck & enjoy the wedding.

We've been very happy with Star for a similar amount of time and DD is just about to move up to Y7. Both schools have great reputations though so I am sure you'll be happy whichever you choose. Thankyou :-))

To twin butterfly, first of all those responsible for theplaygroup should discipline this child with the help of his parents. Otherwise he should be withdrawn. There are too many naughty children in Dubai and some parents think its normal behaviour. He cannot get away with this type of bullying as its only gets worse with age. My son has been bullied most of this academic year by a boy in his class. The school took its time to react to my complaints and introduced some remedial sessions with the other child. I too felt sorry for the other boys' parents initially but later realised, they had been making excuses for his behaviour and not nipping it in the bud. I feel if we have brought up our kids to respect other kids, then why should our kids have to fall victim to bullies? I'm not condemning parents whose children spit, bite and pee on others, as you didn't tell them to do it and neither do you do it yourself but please put an end to that behaviour now! Otherwise, it will only get bad with age and someone one day will have the balls to tell you how it is.

I've never had any luck with a live in maid. I'd rather do the work myself than explain the chores to her everyday for 6 months and she still gets it wrong!!!
