Hi Ladies, Just wondered if anyone here has been pregnant but had negative results from home pregnancy tests? I completed my 7 day pill break last week, but my period never showed. I was meant to start a new pack of pills last wednesday but because my period didnt show i decided not to take it. Instead i went and got myself 2 clear blue tests. Both were negative. Few days later i tried another brand, also did 2 tests. Both negative. I'm now going on to my 12th day since going on my "7" day pill break and still no sign on my period. I've never been this late before. My period normally starts around the 4th or 5th day of the 7 day break in my pill pack. I've never missed a period before I dont really have any symptoms except a weird burning/full feeling in my lower abdomen. Not sure if thats just my mind playing tricks on me. I purchased another digital clear blue test yesterday as i heard those are more accurate but i havent taken the test yet as i thought maybe i'll wait a few more days & see if anything happens. has anyone else been in this situation? i dont particularly want to rush to the doctor just yet as my partner and i are not yet married, but of course if it turned out that i was then we would do this ASAP. Really hoping to find an accurate HPT as this not knowing is causing alot of stress! also dont want to leave it too long before seeing a doc in case the reason for the missed period is a cyst or something which needs treatment TIA hello lilyuae, it is quite possible to go ahead on your periods if you are not pregnant for a variety of reasons ,stress being 1 of them, now there is also a possibility that your urine does not contain enough HCG to show the possitive, wait for a few days more and take another test if it still shows -ve then take a blood test its the most reliable.
