Hi Ladies
I'm new to the site.... I'm from Buckinghamshire in the UK and it looks like we may relocate to Doha with my husbands job. I know zilch about the area other than my googling. I've been to Dubai but not sure how it compares. I need to find us somewhere to live. We have five year old twin girls and also a British school. We think the timing will be approx Nov. so all in all.... Some advice would be excellent and to meet some fellow expats for advice when we come for a reccie would be a bonus :) thanks in advance!

I am Burcak from Istanbul Turkey. I'm living in Doha since June with my husband. We have no children yet. Because of these I have no idea about school sorry.
But I can give you some advice for living areas.
First you need to decide living place, compound villa or apartment?
Second you need decide rent a house furnished or unfurnished?(You can find both of them easily)
Compound villas ( I 'd seen.) are old and huge but you can find new and small one.All compound have swimming pool,sport halls and playgrounds. Some of have special beach.It would be more comfortable for your twins find a new friends and play freely.There is no traffic no noice.

lots of foreign people live in here. Like me :)
All building in the pearl have swimming pool, sport hall and playground. you can go to private beach with your familiy at the weekend.
