Pharmacist won't give anythign for eye infections to children without a prescription (rightly so). Bathe his eyes in saline, using a wad of cotton wool for each eye, going from the bridge of the nose out towards the ears. Throw the cotton wool away and wash your hands thoroughly... anything to prevent cross-contamination. If this happens to a baby who's being breastfed, word is that a few drops of breastmilk helps cure it. Didn't ever have to opportunity to test this theory, so can't say! Hello.Again.Kitty.... I would always advise seeing a doctor... But as OP says, its almost the weekend and it would appear that he was ok before he went for his nap. A pharmacist will be able to judge whether he needs to see a doctor or if its just sticky eye... Which a lot of babies/toddlers get.

Could just be sticky eye. Bathe it in warm water. If it still looks puffy and sore then pop him to a pharmacist... They are very good over here and will advise you on either drops or to see a doctor.

Lord of the Flies? Nope... Wasn't that! Was thinking Adrian Mole but i reckon it was racier (and stolen off a parent).... Please help or i will be thinking of Ralph all weekend... Forever by Judy Blume? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forever_(novel) The character Michael refers to his penis as Ralph throughout. YES... Thats it!!! Bravo!!!!!! Well it was racy to a 14yr old in 1983...lol Thanks. Now i don't have to think of Ralph all weekend!

While we are on the subject....well a slight tangent anyway....just where DID dd, ds, dh come from? I fnd them pretty nauseating expressions but find myself using them anyway. As i said earlier, just going to call everyone Alan from now on. Why Alan? Can't stand that name. I throw the question back at you Alan.......why not????? Reminds me of the creepy kid I had to sit next to **and share a book with ** in seventh grade, who constantly fondled himself when he wasn't doodling in my textbook. There is nothing worse than someone doodling in your textbook.

Oh I love a good horror or psychological thriller. The last two I watched were The Strangers and Eden Lake. The latter is a low budget british horror/thriller which had me holding my breath for the last half hour. It was a little slow to start but then really got going!!!!!! Ooh... Watched Eden Lake the other week! Totally freaked me out for a couple of days!!

Imagine if corrie ever finishes?????....... How long have you all been watching it? It must be 25 ish years for me - when Gail was just a young thing LOL! Not exactly watching it but it was always on in our house so kind of just got into it. Its just always been on in our house for as long as i can remember!! Ena Sharples in the old snug, Annie Walker behind the bar etc. Its a real mix of humour, tears and real life. Love it.

We stayed at The Lebua.... All rooms are suites and are amazing. The location is great...Very central. The pool area was lovely but fairly small and wouldn't be great if you are stopping for a "sunbathing" type holiday. We only stayed overnight though so didn't use it. Do go on the river boat to The Grand Palace.... Its awesome... And some great bars and restaurants around it. Then get a tuk tuk back to the hotel. Enjoy... We did!

Morning! Had a super time! Spent a couple of days in Bangkok at The Lebua (Thanks to Hotpots recommendation on here) and then 8 days at The Millenium in Phuket. Both hotels were superb in terms of service, location etc. Would i do anything different..... Maybe pack a couple of wipe clean bibs for hubby to catch the dribbles!!.... Think he'll be gutted next time he goes to Nelsons and there aren't at least a dozen "girls" dancing on the bar....lol. edited by captainjacky on 23/01/2011

I know I went out for a quick drink a few times, then a supernatural occurrence happened and I was teleported into the future by a few hours and woke up at home... the supernatural occurrences are great, but I think that the time travel messes with your head a bit and makes you warp-sick, because you wake up the next day with a monster headache and a stomach like a washing machine.... Superbly put wikkid..... That describes it perfectly! lol
