Does anyone know how much the brunch at the Address Hotel in Dubai Marina is on a Friday?? Need something for next Friday around the 300dhs or below mark preferably in New Dubai area. Saffron has increased their price for Easter weekend and have already been to the Italian in Raddison Hotel in Media city. The Yacht Club is AED290 and very nice! Mazina at The Address is AED365 with alcohol and AED295 without but havn't been there...Yet!! HTH

Ha ha.... Have a drawer full of bikinis that will probably never see the light of day again... But in answer to your question... Would not wear a bikini now due to "time ageing" ... But guess some men think that speedos are age defying... Ohhhh no!

You will be fine... Don't think there is a time limit once you are up. You just get the lift down when you're ready.... Enjoy!

Lots of options. Thanks for those. We had considered Greece but wasn't too sure about getting around with the luggage and kids on my own as it'd mean a ferry or flight after that. Thailand is always a realiable option. Been there a few times but always happy to go back. Greenish - what's the best way to get to Croatia from DXB? Also, anyone been to Goa in the summer. Thought it was monsoon season and best avoided? Thanks We went to Goa a couple of years back at the end of July.... Had a great time. Was monsoon season and the beach was closed but only had 20 mins of rain on 4 days out of the 10 so it wasn't a problem...Infact it was fab after being here!!... Yep, we were the crazy Brits standing in it with our arms outstretched! *LIKE* :D Sometimes the best holidays are had if yoou head there when everyone else is avoiding the place. ;) Yep.. You're right Green-ish! The pool was still up and running and it was lovely to swim with the warm rain beating down! Did get a few funny looks..But...Well, thats not nothing I'm not used to!! Hope life is treating you well over/under there?! x

Sheraton JBRHas beach/pool day passes for AED100. Not the best pool but nice enough, especially if its the beach you're after. Le Meridian/Westin does them for AED175...Really lovely.

Agree in different strengths with you all. Suffered from it myself for four long, hard years. Yes, there can be baby blues and that is totally normal. But still needs love and understanding from mums who have been there. Then there is postnatal depression that can touch any sector...Whether they were expecting a pregnancy or not, in their own country with family around them, or whether they are in a satisfactory pregnant surrounding that onlookers would view idealistic. It holds no barriers does this rotten illness...And thats what it is. It is isolating, even in this day and age and I still feel a massive stigma attached to it. Do not feel alone.... At one of my worst points an aunt (Who i had always thought of as hard and kind of cruel) confessed that she felt the same as me but had never dare mention it... There is help and if you broke your arm you would go for it...So why not this? But like i say... Sleeplessness and new mumism(!!) can be wretched and a cuppa with someone can save the day can make all the difference...So reach out... We're not judging you, just understanding what its like to have a new baby, no sleep and b***er all adult conversation. x kathrynandwoowoo at hotmail dot com

Hard to say really.... Some mums do take off...But from my experience, alot sit it out. Think you need to be creative in terms of home activities... But lots do it and playgroups etc still exist. Think of it as a bonding time with your LO's... then open the vino at 7pm!!

I have not had to show my licence at Spinneys liquor store at Al Bandar - newly opened. Did not realise it was open! DH will be pleased....where is it located? Heard it was to be in the car park? edited by MimiM on 17/02/2011 Its in the carpark under the Spinneys carpark - carry on down one more level from the visitors carpark for Spinneys. Its at the far right hand corner of the carpark - more parking space then anywhere (wow how many times can i use the word carpark??). Lovely English bloke that runs the place - slightly more expensive than High Spirits Ha Ha... Carpark!!! yeh we are so upmarket here in raha beach! Oh I know you are dahhrlings...lol

Sorry I cannot answer you about the rest and relaxation but if you are headed to Thailand and have a day in Bangcock you might consider heading to Bumrumgrad hospital. You can get a full checkup from USA accredited and trained Dr.s for pretty cheap price. I know stress can have all kinds of effects on us and since you are there anyway you might consider it. In the meantime I will ask around about your question as I myself am interested Bangc*ck??????!!!!!! Hopefully just a small innocent typo?

sigh, keep 2 browers open then and one with the maid thread open :) yeah, but why? turns out all those maid threads were just cluttering up the place. What we do need is an alert button for the really good ones! I alerted the "Mainies" about the "Maidies" last week and got deleted?!
