yes it's the ODDA series at IKEA. The drawers are pretty large and deep but you could check the dimensions to see if they are big enough to store your suitcases.. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/series/14991/

Have you checked Borders? They have a good selection in the MOE store. Hopefully Simone will get back to you, because I personally love the Organized Mum ones that she sells.

In Daiso (Barsha) you will find them where the gift wrap/ribbons/paper bags are (turn left when you enter). You can also buy plain cellophane treat bags from Lakeland... edited by carymama on 22/12/2012

We had to have our apartment repainted before moving out. We didn't have all the walls repainted - just the areas where parts of the wall had marks etc. Generally, tenants need to leave properties in the same condition as when they moved in. You could asked your agent how much it costs to have parts of the walls re-painted and offer them the money to do it? That will save you the hassle of getting it done yourself.

Don't feel pressurized by your MIL. My DD was 2.5 years old and my DS was almost 3.5 year old when he was full potty trained. You will know when your child is ready :)

We have Sunday Dec 2nd off at our school for National Day but I just heard that Dec 3rd will also be a public holiday. Does that mean schools are closed on Dec 3rd as well?

Etsy.com and Ebay.com has many sellers that ship free to UAE. Also Macys sometimes has really low shopping rates during sales. http://www.macys.com/ http://www.etsy.com/ http://www.ebay.com/ I have ordered from Etsy.com before but was wondering if we have to pay any additional charges/taxes upon delivery if we order from websites like Macys?

How many are owners living in Ranches, would you have any idea? I was talking to a real estate agent the other day, and she said a lot of the homeowners are actually living in the Ranches themselves. She said this is why rents are going up here again because sales have increased, with owners preferring to live in the houses rather than renting them out.

Where in Oman would you like to go? Muscat is a 5 hour drive away and I can recommend the Shangri La Barr Al Jissah resort. It's great for families and in a gorgeous location.

I bought some handmade jewelry off Etsy and the seller used their own shipment option as that was cheaper. The seller was in the US and used regular mail (which took about 3 weeks to get here. It was a small bubble envelope).

For silver, try a little toothpaste on a soft cloth then wipe off and polish. Never found a homemade white gold method. Thanks! I will try it.

Our jeweller taught this method to my mom for white gold. I'll check with her the exact method but I'm pretty sure all you do is boil water + washing powder. Then take it off the heat and drop your jewellery into the solution for about 5 minutes. It doesn't matter if there are diamonds. I'll post again once I confirm the exact method, but it works a charm! Thanks! I'll check back again to see if you can confirm this :)

are they plain or stoned? if plain wash with hot water and brush with an old toothbrush with little hand soap or shampoo (dont use chemical ,,fairy or else .) then dry them well with a towel than a soft dry polish . or you can buy a cloth for shinning silver and gold its arround 20 dhs and last years Thanks for your reply! Some plain, some have stones or little diamonds. Where can we buy the cloth for shining silver/gold? At any jewelry store?

I don't eat meat of any kind though. I saw a few vegetarian options on the online menu and I'm hoping they have vegetarian pizza. They definitely have a margherita pizza, which is vegetarian.

OK, great. Will try it then. =) By the way, do they serve pizza? I don't see it on the menu I downloaded. Yes, they do serve pizza. To be honest, I thought their pasta dishes were mediocre (and definitely overpriced), but the pizza was good.
