I have had loads of bother with my kindle. I got it in UK but brought it hear and registered it. It worked fine for 6 months then it stopped allowing me to download books. When I contacted them they said Kindle content not available in Dubai yet!!!
Am going to set up a VPN and try to access Kindle store through that. It is a great gadget when it works properly but very frustrating when it doesn't. Hope you have better luck than me.

I had a look at the VPN site you recommended and it says you have to check that your wireless provider allows VPNs to be accessed. My provider is Du. Do you know if they are okay with this?
