I have seen alot of posts recommending other Drs for this surgery but nothing based on these 2 and they are both experts in this area. Would really appreciate guidance as this is my first op and am very nervous and know this really depends on the skill of the surgeon. Would be very appreciative to get some reassurance if anyone has visited the two surgeons above.

Hi.i think it depends on what you need them for.check their sub speciality as they all have their expertise e.g Dr Sant is the lady to see for recurrent miscarriage/pcos,Dr amber/daisy/oksuz/elsa/george/Britt if u r pregnant as they focus on maternal med, then their are gynaes who specialise in surgery &oncology(jose,liliana,okzusrajesh,ibrahim,karim,khaled,luthra,),hormones/infertility(liliana),fibroids/cysts (natalia),emergency gynae like ectopic/late miscarriage (braithwaite).also, depends on where you are from and they are from as sometimes language can be a barrier and look into what hospitals they work in(maybe you have a preference) and if you are covered by your insurance. Sorry to jump on this thread but does anyone know anything about Dr Ghassan or Dr Marlin Mubarak who are endometriosis specialists? I need a larascopy for endometriosis and only want to see an expert in this as have been misinformed by another gynae about my condition as this was not her area of expertise. Dont know much about them as cannot find reviews only their profiles.want a very skilled surgeon for the laparoscopy. Anyone know anything about their hospitals..al zahra /Canadian specialist in terms of how good they are for surgery.

I'm interested to know of people's experiences giving birth here at al Zahra. Especially high risk pregnancies. Also anyone with Dr Liliana?

Yes I did.. With Dr Rajlaxmi. It was a great experience. Had no probs at all. Their maternity ward is really good and so are their nurses Hi Thanks for sharing. Did she scan you at every visit and did she have a scanner in her room? The dr I'm seeing in there has said she won't scan me evertime which is a bit off putting as I'm high risk.I think it's to do with the fact the Dr's have to share a scanning room. Other Dr's I've seen in other hospitals have their own equipment in their room so I would be scanned everytime. Also have been told by the hospital that there is no obstetrician over night which makes me slightly nervous as both a Zahra and city have one there at night. Any experiences with nicu? Main reason I'm thinking of going with American Hospital is because I have an other specialist I see there who is responsible for keeping my diabetes under control and I want continuity of care. Just not sure if I'm really choosing the safest place and most thorough dr to deliver my baby.need reassurance. If I choose to deliver in another hospital I will have to change my diabetologist too.not sure I am willing to do that now as I have a really good one and half way through my pregnancy.

Hi ladies I really need a lovey dovey, handholding, supportive, caring obs/ gyne that has a very kind human side and will have the patience to explain all my many questions and not rush me. I need a lot of support in pregnancy. Preferably someone who has direct billing with insurance companies and that delivers in city or American. Thanks so much, I really appreciate any recommendations. CP

Hi Izzy, doctors recommend that you do 30 mins cardio everyday. Ensure that your heart rate is raised. It depends though what you are exercising for..to become strong, toned, lose weight. Your aim will dictate your excercise regime
