I wish I had known about takemyjunkuae I had so many items that I did not what to do with. In the end I left them with the security and cleaners in the building.

You could post it on the classifieds section on expatwoman, we had to sell our furniture quickly and lost a lot of money on it, but got eveything in the apartment sold to one buyer.

I have a suitcase of clothes and personal items that I need to be ship back to the UK. Anyone know of a company in Doha that can ship the bag for me. I can arrange for the things to be put in a box if need be. TIA

We stayed in the Rose Garden Hotel Apartments in Al Barsha for a week between relocating, nice 2 bedroom apartment and the rate was good also. I had a friend stay at the Gulf Oasis apartments in Tecom for 5 days, she had a one bedroom and was really happy with it.

Thanks RachelA, Have been looking on google maps and there doesnt seem to be any hotels in Al Gharaffa. Is it far from the Ramada hotel to that area? Also have you heard anything about the George II hotel in the al saad area? Thanks

We are off to bab al shams for a midweek break this coming monday. I'm very excited, I had booked to go last weekend but plans were changed at the last minute. Does anyone know if we can use the fine dining vouchers now that the hotel is under new management? TIA
