Ditto Simpleasabc. To me there is no rape reference in Thicke's song. It sounds like something someone would say to a lover in private. Same as Talk dirty to me, Jason Derulo, same as Gorilla, Bruno Mars- private conversation between lovers during s*x. Whether it should be sung about or not, should be the debate.

Interestingly, I am reading and watching a series of fertility videos that explain how traditional cultures have beautiful clean strong teeth, no heart attacks, asthma, allergies. The focus is on their diets: natural vegetable fats like coconut oil and olive oil, animal meats especially organ meat, animal fat and dairy fat. It is all in relation to fertility and it is making a lot of sense. I think we might have been brainwashed with a lot of commerce oriented lobby-pushed data. http://www.foodrenegade.com/ Completely digressed, sorry.

Hi Terrible_twos! I did not intend to go gluten free, it was accidentally so because of my high protein diet. I love NKD, but as I wasn't aiming to be gluten free I haven't tried them, I will now. I read up on Celiac disease and my! It's confusing!! Nevertheless, I now have a great starting point because of all the suggestions here. I am going to start with the suggested tests. Stop the thyroid madness is a great resource. I am so sorry Janatks I hijacked your thread, but I hope the ensuing conversation has been a huge help to all of us. Tattie Bogle, I shall definitely look into Homeopathic. I've heard some good things about Ayurvedic treatments too. Dubaidesertbear, thank you so very much! I wanted to ask you, were you able to recover the hair you lost once you changed medication to T3? I lose a good amount every day and now they are possibly less than half of what they were. Is there any hope of getting them back? edited by Chocobella on 16/09/2013

My experience has been that usually home deliveries suck. However, NKD has been great, till last time I ordered, the pizza was cold and the sauce was dried out, like someone forgot it on the table for an hour before it got to me. That was a first. Called up the branch and spoke to the manager, who sent out a new one immediately. Great response to complaint but by then the experience had ruined our dinner. I must hasten to add though, they are usually great with piping hot deliveries. It must've been a one off case. Recently, Pizzaro has been sending good pizzas too. Been disappointed with Pizza hut and Dominos. Sorry, only pizza feedback :-)

I found this: http://www.themuslimtimes.org/2012/03/science-and-technology/health/are-you-tired-desiccated-thyroid-extract It seems you might be able to get the med through a pharmacy as Dubaidesertbear says, but it will have to be supervised by your physician.

Amelia, I haven't cleaned out the spray arms specifically, but I do the filter cleaning every 3rd wash and that keeps the dishes clean. Also, I use the dishwasher cleaner, the flat rectangular bottle you get in carrefour that you place upside down in the dishwasher and it clears up everything, but only the filter cleaning every 3rd wash works. It's a luck of draw with electronics I guess. I just checked with husband and he tells me that he cleaned out Miele's filter once in 6-8 months, while I remembered incorrectly that it was once a month.

I have a Miele dishwasher back home and it is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I have a Siemen's dishwasher here that came with the flat, and it is pathetic. In the 6 years that I used Miele I've NEVER had an issue with it, the dishes came out super clean, always! I cleaned the filter maybe once a month or more. The Siemens needs to have it's filter cleaned every 3rd wash or there will be food stuck on the washed and dried dishes. I am, God willing, going to buy a Miele washer and dryer set in the near future because I absolutely believe there is nothing better out there. I do lament though that the guarantee of 10 years has been reduced to 2 years now :-(

Forgive my ignorance, but what is AH xmasbaby? Terrible_twos, thank you for this pointer. I *think* I am almost gluten free at the moment in my every day diet, but, I do love my pizza once a week. My TSH levels are and have been within range for the past one year. How could I get tested for Celiac disease? More importantly, which Doctor could I see who would work with all my symptoms and possible causes? Tattie Bogle, that's amazing!

I also found this website. http://thyroid-rt3.com/ I'm reading up on Endo as well as we are trying to get pregnant. So it's all a bit much, Broccoli and other cruciferous veggies are good for Endo but bad for Thyroid and so on :-) Thank you so very much for the place to go for tests, but finding someone to interpret those results will be the challenge. Is there no doctor in Dubai who works by these methods and by listening to her/his patients? Oh Dubaidesertbear!! I am this sad, fat, balding, cold woman!! :-(

Oh Lord it's like you've listed my symptoms Dubaidesertbear!!! Weight and hair and energy as well as anaemia, gut issues, carpal tunnel and plantar fasciitis are all indicators that you are not being treated properly. ALL of the above!! Thank you for all your help! I don't have insurance so I'll have to tread carefully here. Where is your Doctor Dubaidesertbear? I am quite certain now that I need T3 and iron as well, plus the Brazil nuts. Dubaidesertbear, thank you for the detailed reply. I've been on T4 for the last few years. I have been battling my weight for more than a year now with very streamlined diet and regular exercise. But I seem to be gaining weight instead of losing, my hair are falling out in hundreds, and I am not energetic. After being immensely disappointed with my weight, I got to thinking there has to be something else. I am not English, and I don't know who to contact here who would help me out. The country I come from has very traditional doctors who probably will not touch the newest information with a bargepole. The last doctor I saw did not even speak to me, simply saw my results of the Thyroid profile which did not have RT3 covered, and prescribed the T4 in a changed dose. I don't have a GP here. Can you get NDT here in Dubai? Can I dose myself? Is this the page you had suggested https://www.facebook.com/StoptheThyroidMadness xmasbaby, I've been waiting for the day I will feel myself and jump out of bed for years now! Is your doctor here and could you please let me know who it is? Also, could I start iron supplement on my own? If I can what would the dosing be? You cannot imagine my gratefulness for guiding me to a doctor here in Dubai who could help me. I am battling Endometreosis also and sometimes, I cannot get through the day. Many many thanks! edited by Chocobella on 15/09/2013

Niki63, I will be so grateful if you could tell us where you got your Vitamin levels checked. I take a multivit but it does not contain Iron, but it does have selenium. How much selenium and iron is recommended as a supplement? I've been reading a lot about this and have recently read about selenium too. Dubaidesertbear, I am on thyroxine 75. What medication is this, T3 or T4?

Lennox79, you could try Q room as Lady Bee says and TKD. Online would be cheapest though. Ebay is great for cheap bras. Bravissimo has good discounts in sale and also do free returns. I so wish they'd open here! Their clothing is fantastic too! Figleaves have regular 20% off, even on new stuff. Good luck! :-) edited by Chocobella on 04/07/2013

Totally agree Celticcavegirl! If you are big busted and small ribcage don't go near VS. Bravissimo have a good guide on fit on their website, it will set you off in the right direction. The girls at Bravissimo are just amazing and extremely helpful, you could write to them, or have a phone consultation. I was wearing a 38DD when I found out I was a 32GG with Bravissimo. Changed my life! I am 30GG and inching towards 28H now and buy exclusively from Bravissimo and Figleaves. Celticcavegirl, I think you should try Ewa Michalak and Comexim, both Polish companies. I haven't tried an Ewa bra yet but fellow boobysisters tell me they are the holy grail of small underbust, miles ahead of Panache/Freya and others in construction. She is a very small business though and does not communicate well in English, plus their sizes are difficult to translate, but Bratabase is a good source of info on their sizing.

Of course! As it should be OK with you for me to tell others of my not so good experience with Skynet. OP had a question but several people will read the responses as per their own requirement. Some of them may need to send something back and may want to use Skynet. They must know what can happen with them. That should be OK with you I'm sure.

You've been faithfully recommending Skynet to everyone regularly Di@Dubai. I related my experience with them and it could be useful for anyone using them. I had CLEARLY marked the parcel as 'RETURNS', Figleaves is a huge retailer that sends out parcels worldwide, I had filled out a form, Skynet's form for returns, CLEARLY stating that it was returns. There is NO WAY it was to be charged customs for, otherwise there is no point in having the Returns form filled out at Dubai. The DED warning resulted in the parcel quickly being handed over to Figleaves without a customs charge, why? If they were so sure there was not enough proof that the parcel was sent by Figleaves and was now being returned to them how come they quietly handed it over? So again, be careful with Skynet, especially when sending any returns. edited by Chocobella on 01/07/2013

Be careful with Skynet. They try to fleece you AFTER your package has reached UK. I sent a clearly marked 'Returns' package to Figleaves, filled up a returns form here at Dubai and when the package reached there, UK Skynet office refused to release it saying since it was merchandise it will be charged customs. Figleaves were really helpful, I have all the correspondence, they tried to give them documents that proved that the items were sent from Figleaves and were returns but they just kept asking for some impossible doc. Finally we told Skynet that we will file a complaint with DED if they didn't release it to Figleaves. The next thing we knew was that the package was received by Figleaves, no customs charge. Like I said, be careful. They did this with all documentation in place, including a form filled up here saying CLEARLY it was returns. Also, I think it's 80 AED for 500gms. ETA: Sorry my bad, it is 55 AED for 500gms. edited by Chocobella on 30/06/2013

I've had the opposite issue. My daughter is 11, and clearly has the beginings of boobies. I have had a tough time getting her into bras. I got some from M&S which have been perfect for her. Strangely, not many girls wear a bra in her school and I have never heard her complain that she feels awkward for not wearing one. Conversations in her school center around whether someone is wearing the 'right' kind of bra as there are adult bras and kids bras. My daughter is apparently wearing the 'wrong' one :-)

And I also find TKD very overpriced like everything else in Dubai. All depends where you come from... Compared to Switzerland, they are great value! I like to be able to try them on and not worry about returning via post. It's still much cheaper to order from UK and exchange for me. Bravissimo and Figleaves do not charge you postage for exchange orders. Asos is free shipping. But I can understand if you are not sure of your size or how a style would fit on you, it's great to be able to try it on. edited by Chocobella on 07/05/2013 edited by Chocobella on 07/05/2013

Simplybeach.com will take away the VAT from your items substantially reducing the price when you order from anywhere outside the UK. Enelle sports bra. Nothing even comes close. I am a 30GG-H and I can trampoline in it without the hint of a wobble. This is highly functional sports garment not fixated on how it looks but focuses on reducing breast movement to the minimum. It has to be ordered from overseas though. http://www.amazon.com/Enell-High-Impact-Sports-Bra/dp/B000IWEJDE Hi Chocobella, Tried most sports bra's but haven't tried this one. The style and design is also important for me and the Enelle is not attractive at all, I would feel like a 'gym granny' Take a look at the Panache Sports bra..... the support is amazing, the colours are great and it's young looking. Most of all it keeps the girls where they should be (even at 60)!! http://www.panache-lingerie.com/us/brands/panache-sport In my opinion for serious bust support there is nothing even close to Enelle! Keeping the girls in place and not letting them wobble are two different things and equally important factors and while Panache will accomplish the first, I doubt it can even come close to what Enelle can do for the second. To run or jump and feel zero movement in your heavy breast tissue is heaven sent! And I never felt like a gym granny in it :-)

My money's on Bruce Forsyth being next So far - Savile, Jim Davidson, Max Clifford, Stuart Hall, Bill Roache, Rolf Harris, Gary Glitter, Freddie Starr. What is wrong with these people???? what was wrong with the time ? Young impressionable girls bowled over by a crumb of attention from a "star"...swooning at the slightest look or touch...The time was permissive, if you don't remember the sixties you weren't there !! These ancient situations are being judged by today's standards.... even in the work environment, before the s exual harassment laws came in, a bit of slap and tickle in the stationery cupboard...men who thought it was ok to slap your bum as they walk past or cop a quick feel at any opportunity and the worst they got was a slap round the face... look at the Carry on films...it was a different world.... Jimmy Savile was beyond all that though, probably the most prolific s exual offender in British history and he got away with it because his victims didn't think they'd be believed - he was a national treasure, for any BBC exec to take that on would have been professional suicide so he was regarded as the gropey uncle - bit of a dirty old man but harmless... because in those days the extent of human depravity was never addressed... So Pikachu, are you saying they should not be called out now because it was acceptable in the 60s? some yes and some no.... Wow Pikachu! I have no words!! So just because a 12 year old is star struck it's ok in your book for her being sexually assaulted, because it was 'acceptable' in the 60s? Are you seriousy alluding that it's the victims' fault? edited by Chocobella on 02/05/2013

KOKO nails. Amazing, amazing paint! It NEVER chips, even when a day old pedicure had a toe nail turned backwards in the gym. Yes. That good. It looks freshly done even after 2 weeks. My salon owner showed me her week old manicure and told me she cooks at home, has a tiny baby and another young one and it looked like she had just got it done. She told me people insist on Essie so she has started keeping the brand, but once I have used Koko I won't be going back to wishy washy Essie. Essie has a good color range but the paint itself is weak and thin and needs coats and coats to get it to look like the color in the bottle. Koko on the other hand needs 2 coats and you are set for 3 weeks. Love it! edited by Chocobella on 02/05/2013
