They have YET to open up a ladies salon in executive towers. Trust me, I'm on the lookout. Yet they have 2 men's salons!

Tell me ladies - do you need a UK credit card / UK address to buy from these stores or can anyone purchase them?

Genie - there is not way to describe it........until you've tried a true red velvet cake. I have tasted the ultimate one in Canada made by La Rocca cakes. Truly heavenly.

KellyC, I tried putting 2 ounces of cow's milk to 5 ounces of formula and DD noticed and would not so much as touch the bottle. I am trying to make the transition but struggling as she won't drink anything if cow's milk is in her bottle. Don't know how to switch,

She is on Emfamil but that is only a North American brand not sold here in this part of the world. Eeeks faircakeyumm - I am hoping she takes to regular milk soon as apart from formula being expensive, I find it a bit of nuisance to carry around with boiled water etc. Sigh.....thanks. I picked up Promil Gold for her and she seems to be liking it. Athough I just discovered it is Vanilla flavour so I hope this doesn't make the transition even harder.

Many of you ladies forget - that the underpaid and underprivileged in this country don't always have a voice. It seems very likely that this poor chap was forced to sign on Sizzles behalf / for her - if he didn't the bosses / bullies would have sacked him / made his life **** / threatened to send him back to his home country and cancel his visa. It is a tough spot and I applaud Sizzles for trying her best to help out. But in the end and in this country, we don't have much say once it is with the authorities. I think they will dismiss all facts and just make their judgement anyway.

Also if you don't mind a bit of horror - American Horror Story was pretty damn good. Only 12 episodes the 1st season but again, something I couldn't get enough of.

Many reputable salons do it too - although you'd need to check which ones do. And no - its more the shock of the noise than any actual pain (or so I felt)

Our paed recommended a little 'lactulose solution' (natural laxative) for our DD when we faced that issue at 6 months. Just a little to be added to her milk, juice or water.... worked wonders .......speak to a doc about it or a pharmacist. Also try some freshly squeezed orange juice (no pulp) about a couple of ounces a couple of times a week.

Had epidurals for both my babies. The pain of the epidural (which is really over in less than a minute) was nothing in comparison to the hours of pain contractions can cause. Read up about it and speak to your doctor. My theory was if there is something out there to ease the pain and make the experience more bearable - why not go for it!
