I'm not sure what specific foods to eat, however if you are trying to conceive it's very important to take a folic acid supplement and eat foods that are rich in folic acid.

OK, thanks Cowboy. I've no idea, but thought she might (she doesn't). I wonder what maids do when they have such problems? She doesn't have a clue other than asking her employer, and we can't be expected to be IT experts sadly! Do most maids ask their sponsors to help with these things? From what I see most people volunteer their teenagers services to help solve the maids computer problems

It should be okay. 10 days isn't that long. I had one set done a month late as their was no stock of the vaccine. Many people have the vaccine date rescheduled if the baby is sick or recovering from a sickness. So it's not something to worry too much about. Just reschedule it for as soon as you are back.

Your experience sounds horrible!! My husband also had a bad experience with a chiropractor. Poor man was convinced his back problems would get better quickly and he spent alot of money on therapies only to discover a year later that the problem had gotten worse. He is now doing physical therapy with a real doctor to strengthen his muscles and hopefully the damage can be reversed without surgery.

She might have better luck going to bur dubai, there's a bunch of shops in and around al ain centre. I honestly can't think of a computer shop in satwa. I think it's really nice you tried to help her out.

I have air purifiers in every room of my house. I've tried several brands. Most larger air purifiers come with the humidifier option (I feel like Dubai is humid enough already so I never use that feature). When purchasing you need to consider the size of the room you want to use it, some are suitable for 10m2 and others for 25m2 etc. Also have the salesman show you how to open it up and clean it. Some are completely washable whereas others you need to buy disposable filters for. LG is the easiest to buy filters for as they always have them in stock at the Lg shop in the mall. I've found certain LG models, hitachi and sharp easy to clean. All the pieces are numbered and it's written what you wash with water and what you just brush dry. One older LG model (I gave it away) was overly complicated to clean and I had trouble closing it, it opened like a cassette player. So the best thing is to test it out in the shop. I really think they make a difference improving the air quality. My filters are always looking really dusty so I'm sure it does something.

Springs are in a good location, and some units are well maintained. I don't think prices will ever fall as low as when they were new. It's also important to consider that a lot of people selling are in a rush to make a sale and leave Dubai so that could be one reason for a lower sale price.

Mothercare and mama and papa sell onesies and vests in packs of 3 or 5. They are good sleepwear for the first year. When deciding how many to buy consider how often you will be doing laundry.

Have you tried applying to individual companies in media city and studio city? Job hunting is not easy, it takes time. Many ladies work in schools to get discounts on their childrens education. If your husbands company is unable to send their PrO to issue your visas why don't you try using a company like assist.ae

International city to DIFC would take you about 20-30 minutes by car, depending on traffic. International city traffic can be quite bad to enter the area around 5-7pm. I have friends who live there (Dutch couple and Syrian/Egyptian couple) and they all tell me that some clusters are worse than others, each one believes that their building is amongst the better buildings in the area, with less single men. Often they stare and make the ladies feel uncomfortable as they are walking in the neighbourhood. That being said both couples I know are out of the house quite a bit, they all drive and have cars so I don't know how public transport is in that area. International city is close to dragon mall (selling all kinds of Chinese products that you can imagine) and desert palm hotel. Your best option is to take the company housing till you are more settled here and know the areas. Decide if you are going to get a driving licence and car here, or if you will live close to public transport. Alot of people I know have had bad experiences renting flats without actually viewing them, they ended up paying over market value and could have got something better for much cheaper. Good luck with the move

It's actually in your favour if they keep changing the management. You need to go speak to someone in a higher level management position (boss of your boss) as well as the hr department. Leave a copy of your cv with the hr department and ask them about upcoming vacancies and show them your interest in gaining new responsibilities. Also send them an email so your interest is recorded and they keep your cv close at hand. Hope it works out for you.

I got my licence when I was 18. I'd also apply for my children when they turn 18 too. I'd be more worried if your son wanted to get a motorcycle licence. It's pretty natural that he wants to learn to drive, he won't take the licence overnight so you have time to get used to the idea and set some rules. For example I wasn't allowed to chauffeur my friends around as my parents thought that they would be a distraction, yet that was the first thing I did.

It definitely fits on board in emirates overhead compartments. Coming back from London I folded it up with the winter foot muff and it was a bit of a tight squeeze. Had trouble closing the stroller too. Best to remove all winter covers before even trying to close it.

Search the online job sites see what kind of positions are available. I don't think it would be wise to quit without a secure back up plan. What is your notice period.. one month? I'm sure you will find better opportunities, as it sounds like you are in a dead end job. Have you expressed your desire for taking on new challenges to your boss and head of department? Sometimes a conversation with them will allow them to remember you when opportunities for promotion become available.

I have no idea where in dragon mart sells accessories. But I've seen a section of baby shower accessories in the party shops. Party world had the best selection. Followed by creative minds party supplies and party zone. If you are going to a print shop you could also print personalised stickers. I've seen them done for birthdays. Can use them on water bottles, plain party bags...

That doesn't sound right. Kg1 teachers need to be more patient. All little children have good days and bad days and categorising him and treating him badly from the start isn't good. I don't blame him for not liking his school. If possible try to move him to another school with a more nurturing environment. Or at least plan ahead for next term.

There are other multivitamin drops for babies, without sugar and more concentrated so easier to administer. Just a few drops instead of a few ml's. I can't remember the name right now. If you are using formula that should have all the vitamins that the baby needs thou. (With breastfeeding you just have to make sure you are eating healthy and if your vitamin d is low give that as a supplement) Your baby looks like she is on the small side, but at least she is growing. Stop making diluted feeds, it's actually what people on low income do to make the formula last longer. It could be that the brands of milk in your country are different. They sell formula here for all ages. So just stick with that and follow the instructions on how to make. Don't worry if your baby doesn't drink the full recommended guideline or if she drinks too much, everyday will be different. Other brands of milk you could try are hipp organic and aptamil. I found Hipp organic blends better with water whereas aptamil is a little powdery. Both are good. It just depends on what flavour and texture your baby accepts. Chances are she will get hungry at some point and drink her milk Don't force it. Good luck.

The mountain buggy looks amazing. Any idea where they sell it or for how much? I'm not selling my yo yo but I just wanted to let you know that even if you can't find a used one for sale. It is an excellent investment. I not only use it for travelling but for trips to the supermarket where I know my car boot will be fully loaded. It's really easy to open and fold up.

Pool cleaning service can cost around 300-700 dhs per month depending on pool size. It would be cheaper to have your pool service company come filll the pool with a truck. Rather than filling it up from your water tank. This doesn't need to be changed monthly. Water/electricity bills Don't go up that much with a pool. Most people I know with pools pay total dewa bills between 2500-3000 I'm not sure how much of that is purely from the pools operation.

If it's not related to eyesight. Another thing to do is note down all the food your son eats on the days he gets a headache and see if there is a link. It could be a food intolerance. Also stress and lack of sleep can sometimes cause headaches.

I love the wii. It is my favourite gaming console. For a three year old boy you are going to want to buy games like: 1. Go Diego go (safari/ dinosaurs/ arctic are separate games in the series) this is a really fun game for younger kids, they only need to press one button and it's so easy to play. There is the option to play by levels where you just run past collecting points, or you can play mini games, swimming, digging, drumming, climbing rocks, monkey bars, pogo stick, etc. it's a one player game, player 2 is just a helper (not really needed as the game is so simple) 2. Just Dance Kids or Just Dance Juniors. This game is so simple too. All they have to do is dance and the songs are really age appropriate. There is no loosing in these games, just dancing so it's perfect for a little exercise. 3. Wii sports or sports resort. Some games are really simple like tennis and baseball and would be good for a 3 year old to play alone. But other games like archery and bowling might be a little harder and he would need your help. Other games to consider later on as your child gets a little older, or if you have an interest in 'helping play the game' would be games like, bob the builder, Thomas the tank engine, cosmic family, Disney think fast (if you have a group of children), mario kart, Lego, family ski, wii party

Her doctor may be able to prescribe a higher dose and she simply cut the tablet (with a tablet cutter) in half or quarters to save money. Tablets will last twice or 4 times as long. There isn't a huge difference in price between the 5mg and the 20 mg packs. Best for her to ask her dr if this would work for her situation.

Spray and heat is a good treatment. However I would ask for a follow up visit as well to make sure they are all completely gone. Often bedbugs hide in the strangest places and you wouldn't want a few missed bugs to reproduce months later

They sell seeds here all year. Mostly imported from Spain or Italy. Apart from supermarkets and the garden centres... ACE also sells seeds. I usually wait till the weather is cooler till I plant my seeds or I start them indoors. I never follow the planting month guidelines on the packs as the weather here is so much hotter.

I'm putting my one yr old to bed at 8.45/9 pm and he wakes up at 8 am. I've had all sorts of comments - that's too early (one friend puts her children to sleep at 11 or 12 no set bedtime), that's too late (other friend puts her children to bed at 6pm), wake him up in the middle of the night to drink more milk (friends who clearly don't want me to ever sleep). I guess before he starts school I'll have to push bedtime back as he will have to wake up earlier.
