Tenant would be responsible for the dewa water bill. Landlord would typically be responsible for fixing the water tank floater (even thou it's a really cheap part) and the overflow alarm.

Sam I've had so many gardeners who over water to the point where the soil gets a top layer of green mold and mushrooms start sprouting!! Molly here's a tip to find out if your plants are totally gone or may have a chance of coming back to life. Scratch a layer off the wooden stem with your nail (try it in several places) if it's green and moist under the plant is still alive.. If it's dry and woody everywhere it's most likely gone forever. Some people prune the plants back to make them grow more healthy and full, but I'm not sure when or how that's supposed to be done. For flowers it's before they season they bloom. Also you could buy some organic fertiliser from the garden centre (they have one package that looks really good) and just fertilise the whole garden. I have no idea what plant supplements actually work but from time to time I try new products, I'm not sure what is effective and what's not but I feel good after I feed my plants supplements. They have an iron liquid for plants that have yellowing leaves, the bottle lasts forever.

I keep mine in the shade. And give extra water in the summer. Survival rate is 70% Some things such as tomatoes and seasonal flowers never make it. But mostly everything else survives. Some plants shed their leaves and look twiggy but still alive. Id say the majority are back to normal by October. Your gardener should have respected your wishes and even if they all didn't make it at least they would have had a better chance.

My Dr has told me to avoid using Emla cream in order get the best results from my laser treatment. :( but ouch it hurts in some places. Telling me that the cream blocks the pores and so the results won't be so great. Does anyone know how true this is?? Tried to google it too, but no luck on answers. I was actually advised by the dr to use emla cream to reduce the pain. But it did not work as effectively as I thought. I still felt the zaps

How mini are the screwdrivers you are searching for? Ace or speedex would have sets with lots of screwdrivers. Or are you looking for the tiny one for fixing glasses?

There are some law firms that give free 30 minute consultations. Sorry I can't remember which ones. Probably best to ask a lawyer what the options are. How come they didn't renew his visa before he resigned? Is he searching for another job?

A doctor told me my dark circles and puffy eyes are a result of a vitamin deficiency. It might be something to look into. I use ysl youth liberating eye cream. No idea if it works or not but it's a good moisturiser.

There was a job posting here for a nursery secretary or something. That would be an ideal type of job as she can keep her daughter in the same nursery while she's working.

Mac is good But not for everyday use. People say it causes spots and blemishes. The mineral one isn't so heavy but the other ones they have get cakey and melt in the heat. I like to use dior (liquid foundation with loose powder on top) unfortunately it comes in a very small container and only lasts me two weeks. So I also buy maybelline or L'Oréal true match powder. Under it I use tinted sun protection. I have to change the colour a few times a year as I get darker and lighter each season. The sales ladies are not always helpful, sometimes they recommend colours clearly too dark or orange tinted for me.

Check with the dubai immigration as you might be able to issue her residency if she comes with you on a visit visa. Have some bad experiences with agencies here and lost alot of money on agency fees.

I usually just tell the gardener what I want and he buys and plants it (seasonal flowers mostly) or I head down to the nurseries buy my plants and just have my gardener plant them. I find the people in the nurseries are more knowledgeful about the plants and can even advise on a gardener for planting (they sent a crew when I purchased new grass)

The medical check up before you get married isn't to see if you are pregnant or not. It's a screening for sexual transmitted diseases and genetic disorders that can be passed on to your children.

You need to do more activities/outings with your children. It is important you don't sit at home and lower your mood. There are plenty of things to do without spending a lot of cash. When the weather gets better, it's good to get in the habit of regularly going out, even for a couple hours everyday. You could have a picnic in the park (you could even go with your husband, it's unlikely your mother in law would be interested but if she does join you, at least you are out of the house and the children can run and play), walks along the beach, you could even take along some picnic chairs and have the children play in the sand, small parks are also nice for an hour. In the summer you could go to the malls that have attractions, for example festival city often has displays that interest children, and other malls sometimes have little shows. It's good to get out and walk, even if you are not buying anything. Also I'm sure there are some reasonably priced soft play areas that you could also visit every so often. Also arrange play dates with other parents.

Most supermarkets sell nestle nan formula. People can also buy formula from pharmacies and online for convenience. I was just in geant and these are the varieties of nan formula that I found: normal stages from 1-4, dha probiotic, hyper allergic (ha), protect plus, Anti regurgitation (AR). It's possible that they are packaged and labelled differently here.

A private driver or taxi service is your best bet. Careem seems to be an option people are using. If you find a neighbour with children in the same school then you could carpool, eg you drop them off and they pick them up. Avoid uber for school drop runs.

How painful. This could be anything including but not limited to, ants, fleas, ticks, spiders... You need an exterminator, and probably best to get two treatments to ensure that whatever it is and it's offspring are all eradicated. AlSo would be best to not water the grass after the pest control visit for whatever number of hours they recommend. Also at the same time I'd also give the dog a flea and tick bath, and protect him with frontline (or other competing prevention products). How does the bite look? It might give someone a better idea of what it could be

I've heard about a service like this. The driver comes to you on a foldable scooter, drives you home in your car and leaves on his foldable scooter. Sorry I haven't got their contact details. A friend was talking about them recently.

I don't see why it should be a problem. As long as your pool is in your garden and your garden has a fence then it should be up to you to put another fence around the pool. Not everyone has children who are young and at risk of drowning. And the pool fences actually look ugly and are not practical for families with older children/ adults.

I would buy. 3 mil on the palm is not too bad. But it's best if you include everything in your budget like, yearly building maintenence fees, cost of registering the property, avg maintenance costs, etc when calculating if it would be worthwhile for you. I know alot of people who purchased on the palm but rent the units out rather than living there.

It depends on what kind of skin she has. Why dont you just get her a gift voucher or pay a deposit in advance at a salon of your choice and let her select the treatment.

I'm embarrassed to admit this. I offered to help my husbands nieces with their homework, they both go to the American school here, grade 1 and grade 3. The english homework they both had was very hard. I had to Google the answers to figure out how to explain it to them. The maths was easy and I saw the value in it but the English questions were really too complicated for such young children. I feel that the American curriculum focuses on micro aspects of grammar and word patterns whereas the British curriculum focuses more on comprehension.
