Dr Nataloya at Coopers Clinic on Al Wasl Road. Always super thorough and gets the job done!

I'd recommend Regal Stitch in Karama. Always do a great job and deliver when they say they will.

Exactly what sort of couverture are you looking for? I've got some swiss dark chocolate and white chocolate that professional pastry chefs use; I bought it from the distributor here, but their minimum is one 6kg boxe (6x1kg bags). If you'd like more information, let me know!

Check on jadopado.com They had some the last time I checked, and they should be able to deliver to you before Sunday! Good luck with the search!

Honestly, with regards to beauty salons, I think almost any place will provide services to young girls, from my experience, I've seen many a mother standing over their young daughters while they're having their arms/legs/faces!? waxed..usually telling them that the pain will be worth it...

I've just moved back to Dubai from Lucerne, although I did travel around quite a bit...I would second simpleasabc's recommendation of http://www.englishforum.ch/forum.php Everyone on there is super helpful and the best part is there's someone from literally everywhere.. In terms of language, I don't think you should worry, my french is only semi-decent and my german close to non existant, the locals are really friendly and really appreciate the expats trying to speak one of their national languages. Good luck with the move!

My Ipad's got facetime on it.. and I did buy it locally...however, I don't know if it makes a difference with regards to facetime; but I bought mine online, before the "official" release of the ipad in the UAE, so, clairehdp, you may well be right with regards to facetime and the 'official' ipdas...emily; I think in terms of price, (and maybe even functionality) online through a local website may be best...

Hello! I'm looking for something to wear to a wedding event and I'd like to wear a dress.. but it's got to be modest; long and shoulders covered... for some reason I'd quite like something light and flow-y. I'm absolutely useless at "designing" stuff myself so would prefer somewhere I could buy something ready made; or maybe someone who'd be able to design something for me? Anyone got any suggestions for where I could find this special something? Thanks!

Thanks for that Genie, but from what I know..Seitan's not the same thing, which is actually wheat gluten. I'm looking for the white powder that's pretty similar to corn flour/corn starch.... Anyone?

I know this may be late... but if anyone still wants an ipad, at a not ridiculous price, they'll be available again on Thursday on http://www.jadopado.com which looks to be a new company that's started in Dubai... from what I was seeing on twitter, they had some a few weeks ago but sold out, and now getting them back in stock. From their website: iPad 2 16GB with Wi-Fi is AED 2,800.00 Happy Shopping!
