Hello Ladies, I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice on bad skin breakouts in pregnancy - mine is very bad, hard to go out every day with it like this, especially to work. I'm 4 months pregnant. I've been give Fucidin cream by the doctor but doesn't seem to be working. Is there anything oral you can take to help clear it from the inside. Any recommendations greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hi All Hope everyone is doing well. Just an update on my 12 wk NT - all went great so I was very glad I went, the scans were amazing with Genesis, looking forward to my next app at 20 wks there :o) All going smoothly for me, no sickness or any symptoms whatsoever.....except for lots of angry spots on my face - not v. nice. Was wondering if anyone else has the same or any recommendations on what to use that they might have found worked good, thanks!

Hi, What do you think about going there while pregnant (to the south only), I was considering it at the end of next month but now I think mosquitos might be a big problem and I'd be concerned about getting bitten and using deet while pregnant - what do you think? It looks beautiful and would love to go but don't want to risk anything unnecessary? The doctor said not to go anywhere with mosquitos, I mentioned Sri Lanka and she said that would be fine, she might not have realised about the mosquitos there....

Hi there, Congrats on your good news! I'm also due Mid October. Had my scan on Tuesday with Dr. Elsa at City - was 10 weeks, 2 days and all looked good and heard the hearbeat so it was lovely! All going well so far, no symptoms whatsoever or any sickness so I think I'm getting away lightly! I have the NT scan booked at the Fetal Medical Clinic soon but now I'm nervous on it and not sure whether to cancel. Are any of you doing it?

Thank you both very much - that's very informative and puts my mind at east a bit better!. You mention doing the triple test, thanks for this, I definitely will - just one question, you say the blood test is done at 10/11 weeks and the scan around 12ish weeks - does that mean you have to go in twice? When I rang they said it's all done together, blood test and scan and it takes an hour and a half, within this time you get the results? At the date I've booked I'll be 11 weeks 3 days.

You cannot remove any money you pay in for the first 18 months with ours and i am guessing most are the same. Our take is that everyone is different, we are fortunate to save more here than we could ever dream of in the UK so while we are here we are. If in 10 years we miss out or have to lower the premiums then at least we have accumulated a good pot. After 3 years our plan is work 40% or more than we have invested, i know this as i met with the consultant just yesterday. Ultimately your decision though as only you know your future plans and financial situation. Yes, ours is the same thing, the first 18 months are fixed and then you have the option to reduce the premium to suit yourself, you can even withdraw a lump sum at any stage if needed and then continue on again. I don't recall him explaining about exit charges at the time, stupid I know, I should have asked. It's not a Pension, it's an investment policy, I just hope it pays off, I'm starting to get wary of it - I have a meeting with the Financial Advisor next week so hopefully I can clarify a few things, I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with the same plan, many thanks for your replies :-)

Hi, we are the same, never had the housing charge for 3 years and now it's been added to our October bill :-( Our rent is 140k which at 5% should be 583.33AED. The Charge they have applied is 658.33AED - would this mean that they have just guessed our rent and should we go into them to amend - I'm reluctant to go in when we didn't pay previously - however based on Queen L's reply I'm presuming they don't backdate? Do you have to have an Ejari to go in there or is your rental contract sufficient?

Hi, I saw Dr Anne a few months ago just for a checkup, I have to say I found her dismissive on my questions, like I was asking things I should know and she didn't have time to answer - felt like I shouldn't be bothering her with my trivial questions! My friend is going to her as she is pregnant and finds her very good so maybe it was just the way she was on the day I was there. I am hoping to try to get pregant soon so I'm wondering if you start with Dr. Anne and decide to switch doctor - more than likely Dr. Elsa is this easily done? How easy is it to switch doctor whilst pregnant and under another OB-GYN? Thanks!
