Hi we are in JVC, where we are we do have access to a pool. My kids currently go to Regent but I am moving them to DBS as of Sept. It takes me 8 mins in the morning to get to school, but around 15 mins to get home as we have to go on the Emirates road. I am guessing it will take around the same time to get to DBS. There are a few houses where are for rent at the moment (1 next door to my self, a 4 bed) and some 3 bed ones - these all have the pool access. if you want to email me my address is mgr1966 at gmail dot com.

If it's that much then it might well get stuck in customs, as I'm sure you'll have to pay duty on that amount.[/quote Thanks... Do you know if there is a main post office where I can check to see if they are holding, I am just worried that as they have not sent it by courier it wont be delivered to my work address. <em>edited by Dawn74 on 06/03/2012</em>

A friend went to look at Jum Village circle and the downstairs living space is very small despite having 4 bedrooms, also she said there were lots of stairs and a tiny yard, so maybe not so suitable for a young family, however price is very attractive Yes I do agree that the space down stairs is small and alot smaller than we are used to, but our children are in their teens, so for us it is ideal as they have their own floor and space. We will use the maids room as an office and the stairs - an added bonus for keeping fit - lol Dawn x <em>edited by Dawn74 on 05/07/2011</em>

Hi Christmastree We are just in the process of moving over to Dubai, we are renting one of the below properties http://www.goldenwaveproperties.com/index.php?option=com_ezrealty&task=detail&id=1986&Itemid=106 They are still building in this area, but we hope as most of the townhouses have been rented they have said that the pool should be ready in the next 12 weeks - fingers crossed. We are also sending our children to the Regent International School, the fees are around 41,000. Hope this helps Dawn <em>edited by Dawn74 on 04/07/2011</em>

Hope someone can point me in the right direction..... I have 2 interviews next week for positions within 2 different schools. Neither job advert have mentioned a salary. I don't want to under sell myself or "out bid" myself. Can anyone give me a ball park figure that I should be requesting? The positions require an ex-pat English speaking candidate for: Parent Relations Officer Admissions Secretary Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dawn

Thanks for your replies. We have looked on the web and they are saying that the size is 3300 SqFt for one of the town houses in Jumeira Village Circle and its around 85,000 - have made an appoitmnet to view one next weekend, alowing that it's not been rented in the mean time. Cymraes - What is Jumeira Village Circle like - I know that there is still alot of building work going on but are there shops etc up and working - is there water in the pools? Mollydxb - Thanks, will look into this area also. Dawn

Thanks Fiona, will defo give him a call. have you been using an agent or just driving around and calling when you see a notice board outside. I have contacted a few agents but only 1 or 2 have bothered to come back to me. Betterhomes have been quite good. When we where over last month, we met with the Betterhomes guy who in the Arabian ranches mall - he gave us some keys to look around some places that were vacant. Good luck with the search Dawn

Hi 9714 - Thanks for your reply. I print some at home on a inkjet printer as I do like the gloss finish on my photo invites but I do also have some printed out on digital. I was hoping maybe to go digital, so I would design the invite and then the buyer would be able to print at home themselves. Once I'm over if you dont mind me contacting you maybe you could please point me in the direct of the event organisers etc that maybe interested - I'm not sure if I can post links on here as I currently sell on Ebay in the UK so you can see some of my products. TIKTOK - I think you are wanting to have the labels on the kisses on the bottom - this is not something I sell but from what I have seen you can but the small stickers that will fit on the bottom - the stickers are a bit small but I know that they are 1.5" and there will be 20 stickers to a sheet - hope this helps Dawn <em>edited by Dawn74 on 25/05/2011</em>
